Ohhhhhhhhhh boy
D&D stories
There are a ton of short stories
I can't really explain the goblin omniverse. me and several DMs made, it take too long.
In the one shot adventures group, a group of friends who DM multiple stories in the fictional country of Philadelphia, seeing how we run it, all the DMs can play reoccurring characters and level them up as normal.
One day, me being a DM myself, I pitched if I could play a warforged bard
My friend didn't like Warforged so he completely banned it cuz he thought it was broken. (Using The Ebberon official, which combat wise is just +1 AC)
Me being angry, decided to make a new character
I noticed the "Tortle" race and thought it was a glorious race
"trapped in a pet turtle gladiator fight, Koko, among his brothers had to survive to the ends of the earth, after killing so much of his brothers, Koko ingested his kin, the Protein went through his body turning Koko into a 6 foot tall turtle man with battle gauntlets"
A chaotic evil turtle man who preforms his actions in such a way where his actions are justified
I then proceeded to smash through my friend's encounters with Koko the killer WWE turtle.
The first thing he did was instead of sneaking past the hobgoblin squad, instead of directly fighting the squad with his party, he walked up to them and challenged their leader in a "fist" fight.
First round
Hobgoblin punches Koko in the face dealing 3 damage
Koko then pulverizes the hobgoblin leader in one round using his gauntlets, breaking every single bone in his body at level 1
