I currently have several things in the works as I can only write. Drakon Forge3 is my main project.

After that I got the comic called Grey Lines which I was looking for an artist for but decided to try an experiment out and do a words only comic still got things to figure out for it but it seems to be working people find its uniqueness either charming or a turn off but the turn off is more to the fact that its not normal to them which I have no problem with readers leaving for this reason since its kind of a brand new medium I'm making.

Another one I had an artist for but do to not being able to complete it in time for the contest on Line Webtoons we parted ways so I am left with scripts and some more needing to be written yet to complete the origin volume of Vigilance.

Vengeance Born is the last comic series I have though the artist I was collaboration has had a lot of real life stuff going on so its yet to take off yet I have three issues of script done but we have yet to do any pages. To be honest this comic is probably going to be getting a new artist for it though I really don't want to I would much rather work with the artist I started it with.

Finally I just started working on writing some shorts I will edit this post once I start posting them to tapastic I'm thinking of posting them under one roof right now I saved a spot called Bitter Melon it will be a bittersweet webcomic anthology where I put the shorts. Stay tuned.

My storyManga Academy6 Is nearing the end of the first chapter I 'm still planing out the script for the next chapter and I have a list of future senarios that I still need to flesh. So even though I've already started there's still alot that hasn't been set in stone as of yet.

DUO DUO1 is my new comic about two orphans trying to survive in a city undergoing a surreal transformation. It's mainly inspired by alternative comics/manga and science fiction novels and films. Let me know what you think.

Oh my comic4 is fairly new. Released it mid march and I update once a week so it's really slow. I'm still in the beginning of the first chapter. My main problem is really planning out the scenes and thumbnailing.

And then the second biggest problem is colouring backgrounds, since i'm doing it digitally and slowly trying to nail a studio ghibli look. xP /dead

For my current series I spent a few years fleshing out the begining middle and end. I have the first 18 chapters written out and the first chapter is almost finished being drawn ^.^. The second series I am working on is still really new and going through a lot of changes. It is a mystery suspense series involving classrooms that get trapped in a school and have to complete childish games turned violent in order to escape. Still working on the premise and what not but its really fun to flesh out a story. This one I will force myself to complete in 24 chapters or less. I wanna focus on creating short series that I can create quickly but still have a lot of depth and interest to them ^.^

My second comic is still in it's early stage, in other words I have yet to finish the first episode
-> 8 pages with finished lineart, 12 to go.
I planned to take weekly manga artists as inspiration, as I am also thinking of updating it weekly.
Meaning I'll draw 18 to 20 pages (I can't really call them full pages as there's still a lot of space between the panels) and fuse them to one episode/chapter, in the style of 'webtoons'.
… but it takes so long because I always draw and erase things. It's a bad habit of mine weary
The first episode will be uploaded as soon as I am 3 chapters ahead, so there won't be any delay in the future.

Something script-like is on my phone, but I'm more the type to write down everything for one episode, draw it out and then after finishing it, continue writing for the next one.

I just started my series Household Slime Mold2. I'm going to try to post new pages 3 times a week this summer so I can get a decent way into the story before school starts up again. :b
I did a lot of planning and script writing for the comic before hand, but the more I think about my plans the less I like them. I might end up going really off course as I'm actually drawing it.

The comic I'm currently drawing I'm using to hone my style. I'm working on some scripts and ideas in the background but this is one of those things I can do once a week and just keep focusing on stylistic things and develop without getting too worried about style.

Something I can play around with so when I get to committing to a full story I'll be in a place more comfortable with my art.

8 days later

Yess I'm currently working on my comic called LostMyth, it's taking me a while. I started last October and in the process. this is part of the Cover page. cant wait to upload the whole thing in tapastic. I feel it's really short even though its about 50 pages. >w<

that looks so cool omg, i cant wait to read it!!!

Wow, I was getting the feeling I was the only one still in the process of creating the comic. XD I've got 6 Chapters worth of scripted written and the outline done. (I don't know how people don't script each page, I'd be so lost without some written thing keeping the art on track for the story). Also right now, I'm inking the many pages of pencils and thumbnails for the first chapter. Hngh, comics take a lot of prep. D:

So nerdybirb, how's your comic coming? smile Have you got any juicy progress pics to share?

Also as a bonus just based on your username... Here's my nerdy birbman from my in-progress comic, Pest Caravan.

i love the bird man... (AND UR ARTSTYLE WOWIE)
and uh!!!!! progress pics for caster woooooo

this is the first page so far?? (i hate drawing backgrounds so progress is slow)

and heres a really sketchy page featuring caster herself

most of my comic progress + character sketches are on my instagram2 or twitter (instagram mostly)

does anyone else have progress pics (or even just ideas) to share?

Really nice early concept art, everybody! I'm working on a comic to be released this early fall, and I've thumbnailed about 20 pages. I'm also defining my characters, like Dagmar and Susan, pictured below smile And... the comic will be in color! It will be my very first comic to feature full-blown, hopefully gorgeous colors smile

I'm working on my comic amori6! It's a little slow paced at first but I'm barely on the 11th page now, and if you don't know about my comic, AMORI, it's about a girl named Otova who moves to a new town and finds out new things about the people she loves and meets.

I'm not the best at writing but mostly everything is planned out for AMORI because it's a long story, I just need to script more stuff and design more characters ;;

There's also going to be a dramatic change in the art style in a few pages because my art style I was using for the early pages is becoming a bit 'outdated' for me haha ((it's taking awhile for me to produce more pages because im getting lazy))

Ahhh! I love seeing in-progress pics! It's coming together fine, don't worry! I would maybe ad some boxes infront of the house or more architecture variety as it feels a little too symmetrical. Even traditional dutch style homes that are crammed together have a lot of bits that jut out from their house. Like a furniture hook on the top of the building because the houses are too narrow to carry large objects inside. Details like that really sell the realism in your scenery shots. smile

Also by-the-by love your instagram stuff. The bloodborne cleaver is top notch, and your style is really cute!

Oh, and here's my in-progress contribution! Some random page thumbnails from the yet-unreleased Pest Caravan plus architecture! It's a double page spread mind you... if you dare to try and read my chicken scratch.

@infectedbloodcomics Ooo! Love your main character! I always dig wihen the girl isn't some rail thin-model that looks like if a slight gust hit her she'd snap in half... Big beefy gals are the best!!! I've always been a sucker for them. Heh heh, hense my main spitfire, Amber.

They should hang out sometime. XD

@aika Ahh! Your comic is adorable! The style reminds me of a combination of Steven Universe and old 80's-early 90's era anime like Doraemon. I don't know why, but your main makes me think of Lapis Lazuli. Might be a combo of your style, her being blue, and all the watery backgrounds though. Sorry if you get that a lot, and that's why you're changing it. D:

I'm really curious to see where the story goes though! Best of luck!

Thanks! Yep, Amber and Dagmar should hang out sometime smile I actually have another big, beefy girl in my story (the other main character). Her name is Alexandra (Sekhmet) Hawke. Here she is, drawn in pencil in a not-too-fast sketch:

Ahh! And she has dreads too! Perfect! Man, now Dagmar has competition for a favorite...

In the sketch itself though, I might watch out a bit in terms of posing. The way she's bending her right arm downward seems a little uncomfortable to actually try to replicate. If you relax that forelimb just a tad, I think it could really sell the action in the piece even more! smile

wow there's so many cool wip/concept art here ;w;
(btw love your drawings @nerdybirb ^u^)

i'm still planning my future comic, but i already drew a rough draft of the prologue
(these are one of my favorite pages from it ^u^)

Hahaha Absolutely, thanks for the suggestion about the arm! Always striving for improvement! If you are interested at all, Sekhmet is in my current comic, The Green-Eyed Sniper2. This is a pilot comic to explore a bunch of characters and to improve my art skills smile BTW, Sekhmet has red hair (dreadlocks, yep), just like Amber!

P.S.: I don't know about Amber's alignment, but neither Dagmar nor Sekhmet are exactly good characters... Especially Dagmar - she's really evil!
