This makes sense. Thank you!

Ya definitely planning to have a table in the nearest con next year. I was just wondering why people would buy something they can already read online.

Wow thanks guys! I'm actually printing a book version of my comic and it's 1 volume (4 chapters) around a 100 pages, and I'm going to offset print it so retail price is cheap. I was stressing if people would actually buy it coz if not I'd waste a lot of money. There have been favorable response on m…

Hello! I know this is an old thread, but I was wondering if people would want to buy a book version of your webcomic (like compiled chapters / volumes) even if they can read it online for free. What's your experience with this?

Are you thinking somewhere in the lines of shonen jump or saturday AM?

HAHAHA Guhit Pinas. Was a member and left the group kasi ang papangit ng ugali ng mga tao dun. Join nlang kayo sa Level Up, Artcore, at Daily Spitpaint. Welcome everyone. smile

I have both Windows machine and a 2015 Macbook Pro running OSX El Capitan. I use my mac to create comics simply because the colours are more accurate and my comic is colour intensive. I'm also studying concept art / illustration so it helps that I don't have to worry about viruses/BSOD/shit not work…

I do both but since I move around a lot (addicted to traveling unfortunately), I prefer digital. What I use most of the time is Photoshop though. I've been using it for almost a decade and although it's quite the bulk of a software, it's what i'm most comftable with. @shazzbaa holy shit your linew…

WAH. I love greek mythology!

Ahaha I see what you mean. I've decided to just colour it but make the pages shorter like my last update. I takes me a total of 3 full days to finish one full page. I just started studying concept art and speedpainting so I'm not that fast with colouring backgrounds, but I want to keep at it as I'm …

Yes, i feel the same. Once a week is enough i think. I have to weigh this out coz even once a week tires me. Maybe I'll keep the updates shorter. current ones are equivalent to 2.5-3 standard pages. Thanks for the kind words! smile Really appreciate it!

Oh my god thank you so much for the kind words. I live off of these. I really appreciate it. Yes, apparently I'm not very good at managing my time esp now that it's becoming hectic but I would really want to maintain the colours. And I'm afraid to actually take a short hiatus. D:

Thakn you so much, luv! I knowwwww I'm really sad that I have to choose my comic over my actual real life issues. It's annoying to even think about it. But I need pick myself up and do this. I'm just afraid that even If I rest for a bit I'll lose some readers.

Wah thanks so much! yes i've more or less decided to keep it in colour. just not sure how much i'll be able to keep up since my buffer is slowly dying and i've been more and more busy these days. frowning

I see. wow thanks for the insight. Thing is I already update only once a week since it takes around 3 days to complete a page with my allotted time. I guess I'll have to stick with this eh. hmmm.

Okay so this is not an advertisement, i just want your opinion really bad. My comics is This So far i've managed to make it in full colour, releasing updates in long pages equalling to around 2.5-3 pages if separated. I managed so far. But recently I've been too busy with work and I'm also going t…

My first full comic here on tapastic is full colour, mainly because it's laid out to show a lot of sceneries and landscapes. I'm not too happy about it since it's extremely time consuming, but I'm not half bad with digital painting so made good use of it. Sometimes i think maybe i shouldve just done…

holy scheiße these are brilliant comics. thanks for sharing!

I wanna know what keeps you guys from delivering on time if you have personal deadlines. Things that distract you from making your comics or maybe in extreme cases have been reasons for you to hold off on an update. Mine, personally, for the last two weeks i've been playing Overwatch excessively x…

Here's mine: https://tapastic.com/series/AGLA it's fairly new smile It's about my country's mythology and mostly about Gods. It kinda has a dark vibe though. [image]

Oh my comic is fairly new. Released it mid march and I update once a week so it's really slow. I'm still in the beginning of the first chapter. My main problem is really planning out the scenes and thumbnailing. And then the second biggest problem is colouring backgrounds, since i'm doing it digit…

Filipino here. Also a creator, I can speak filipino and a couple other dialects outside tagalog. My comic is in english tho so I can cover a larger audience. smile If you have time, you can check my comic out. hehe. Agla - The Graphic Novel Salamat ng marami! Hope we filipino creators can meet up …

It's risky, not a lot of people appreciate culture and diversity. But I'm trying my best as this is my personal advocacy. I've done at least a year of research before I released the prologue hehe. stuck_out_tongue thanks for the kind words!

hello! hahha. andaming pinoy dito no? xD not so sure about creators tho. stuck_out_tongue

Thanks a bunch! Ah yeah, i noticed that too. My main traffic comes from the official site though, but i would sure be glad as hell to have more readers here. stuck_out_tongue Oh and yes, I am. hehe. kamusta?

Would be nice to hear what you think. This is my first full Graphic Novel. AGLA It's kind of a historical-fantasy based on my country's culture, so i understand how it's not getting too many readers. But i'm cool with it.
