I envy you guys  black friday doesn't exist in my area. I was planning to ask my friend from US to watchout tablet or ipad discount. Do you have any idea how much discount can I get during black friday?

You can get an iPad for $250 US dollars on Black Friday- though it'd be better off if your friend could get it from the store directly. Some places do allow online shopping but from my experience last year when I tried to make a purchase- so was everyone else; the site froze up and crashed so, I had to go into the store anyway.

I'm investing in an ipad Pro finally!
And all the Christmas presents. All of them.

You couldn't pay me to go out into public on Black Friday in the midwest. It's like being caught in a herd of stampeding elephants.

If I get a full-time job, I'd probably buy that new alcohol drink machine. It makes drinks for people who go out and drink once a year. It's supposed to be 300 dollars.

If I am getting anything, it'll most likely be a digital purchase of some games for the Switch? Assuming third-party and/or indie games get a discount on the eShop that time of year. I'm tryna get me Hollow Knight and Celeste.. both these games look gorgeous and seem right up my alley!

I wouldn't dare walk into a store on Black Friday though, they're practically indoor riots lol people getting injured and even a few dying over here for some deals. Shoutout to the employees working those days and putting up with it

Not exactly sure where you guys live...where I live it's pretty tame.

My whole issue is that the only 3 things on my list are a larger TV, a new phone, and a 16" Wacom Cintiq. I'm holding off on the Cintiq(even though it's on sale for under $600 last time I looked at Amazon) and the larger TV(when I get my own place) until Black Friday next year; so the phone is the only thing on my current list...but I'd be better off ordering the phone online, coz 1) deals for phones on Black Friday are crappy af 2) the phone I want isnt exactly sold everyday in stores.

I dont have an issue ordering the phone I want online...if anything, I'll go and see if I can get my hands on a better pair of wireless headphones(Skullcandy or Beats) and/or get season 3 & 4 of The Flash TV show on blu-ray. The iPad that I bought last year was the final "must have" item for me...I'm kinda in that zone where I dont feel like there is anything else that I "really need" right now- everything else is "dont need right now/can wait til next year" type stuff.

Even with video games- I'm debating on Monster Hunter Iceborne, but really dont "have to have it". The only game I REALLY wanna get my hands on is the Final Fantasy 7 remake coming in April, so I may hold off get MH until then and get both games at the same time.

Same thing I've done for the last few years, take advantage of all the Chewy sales and stock up on pet food and supplies. It's been a lifesaver for me, personally.

Some boots probably? But that will probably be ordered online from the security of my home lol

Edit: holy shiet this thread is oldddd just make a new thread lol

Online shopping, fam.

It's a life-saver, I can get what I want without needing to fist-fight someone, and everyone's happy.

For you and anyone else wondering why we're talking about Black Friday like we'd get in a fight over some deals... I mean, this was last year in America!

I don't live near these areas, but I live near the most ghetto city in California. Compton. So, if I can shop online around this time of year, you better believe I'm gonna shop online around this time of year lol

I remember stuff goin on like this in 2005, but it's still goin on in 2019? Geesh

The places I go to, everyone is chill and in a line(they also have cops there in case it gets out of control); for the most part- of the 10+ yrs I've been doin Black Friday, I can say I've never been in any kinda fracas or witnessed one.

I def feel you...Compton? I wouldnt wish that on anyone...keep stayin safe!

I bought some graphic novels that are really expensive at other times.
Next year I want to buy a PS. Not because I don’t have money now, just my baby is small. I want her to be at least 3 years old before she finds out what games are.

Now that I don't live in the US anymore I forget Black Friday exists. When I was there, a few times I went to the nearest shopping mall to watch people turn into mindless beasts, because I had to convince myself that something like that is real. It was sad.
I never bought anything because the prices of what I was looking for weren't that cheap compared to other sales during the year.

I don't visit offline sales.I hate crowds. :unamused: I rarely go shopping at all. Only online shops.

9 days later

Thought I'd come back here and talk about Nintendo eShop purchases since uhh there's lots of indie games doing ridiculous sales since Thanksgiving (over 50% off for a lot of 'em) until Dec. 4-6. I had a $50 eShop card and just bought quite a bit

Celeste, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Mana Spark, Caveblazers, Minit, Downwell, and.. a Battle Pass for Fortnite lol (it kinda gives back enough V-Bucks to buy another for the next season if you don't buy anything from the shop and reach a high enough tier before the season's over)

I still have $16 left over, which I'm saving for Hollow Knight.. it's not on sale right now, so I guess I could buy it with no problems, but buying it during a sale seems better since you could potentially buy another game with the leftover cash. Even if I wasn't planning on buying that game, I could get mayyybe up to 3 other games that'd catch my interest with the money I have at the moment so yeah~

Here where I live there is:
Black Friday week???
Black Friday
Black Friday weekend???
Cyber Monday into two days???

This is too much, because I only buy what I need to buy, and the store does not have to take the price down, I buy it anyway to Christmas.
