Artist Seeking Editor [ FULFILLED]

I'm an artist currently seeking an editor. I mostly do all the work by myself but I have realized that sometimes my grammar is off and at times I run into Tens Issues and syntax. Even though I'm an English speaker, writing is completely different so this is where you come in.

This project is ongoing and I estimate a finish date of March 2021. I am doing everything myself and this is why I have a deadline. Since i don't work with scripts, I have attached a google DOC of what the editing process will be like if you accept my offer.

The Genere of the comic is BL.
- 60 pages are ready to be looked over. however, you will get them in increments of 20

If the position is filled, you can change the title of your thread to convey that.

Not sure what you mean by that. All I'm saying is all your dialogues needs to be fixed as they are really unnatural. Asking an editor to do it for free is just unfair. it's like asking an artist to draw everything for free. I hope you see my point here.

No I don't see your point because you just want to argue. that's why it's an "unpaid" position. I also offered an incentive because that's what I can afford. it's up to anyone who is interested to apply. if you aren't interested keep scrolling. your point is pointless. and FYI I did find someone so move on.

I see Green's point. I had wanted to collab with an artist but I couldn't pay them. I learned that people who really will put time and effort into something they love often want to get paid. Yes there are some people who will do the work for free but it's not that common. Green's point is that if you wanted help it would have been more fair to offer payment for their time after all they are spending their time to help you and make you work better.
Also Green was not trying to cling to the topic and they didn't come across that way. They were just trying to give you advice for next time.
I totally understand not being able to pay and it is a little unfair that it makes it harder for us to get a good story out there because we lack money (this is not to offed people who want to be paid, you are not unfair the situation is) so I understand that you might have felt like Green was lashing out or criticizing you but I assure you that wasn't the case.

you might think green had a point but he didn't. all he/she had to keep was keep scrolling if he felt it was a lot of work. he didn't have to comment, no body needed his two cents. I know it's a work that deserves pay. and that I why I was willing to give the amount if incentive I offered, I didn't get on here to he ridiculed and bashed. if I needed advise I would have asked but that's not the point. the point was to get assistance instead I'm being told how the work is too much as if I didn't know before I posted it. The work is for individuals that "ARE INTERESTED". if he wasn't, all he/she had to do was ignore the post. why do ppl fee the need to give two cents when it isn't required. again, let's not talk about this again. the position is filled already.

Yeah, no problem. I get not being able to pay but lashing out at someone who is trying to help you get better for next time seems a bit aggressive.

How are they trying to help me exactly? by telling me I'm asking for too much? where exactly is the help? I get its a lot of work but that is why I offered incentive. Telling me you "would have helped", does absolutely nothing for me. and I am aware of what he is trying to tell me but it's not needed.

I don't see you going over to the other post where the writer is asking for "4 years" of work from the artist telling them they are asking for too much.

Maybe instead of just saying "I was going to offer my help, but after reading your comic... it's just too much work for doing it for free. sorry." Be more descriptive of what they could do better with advertising. For example I personally felt like it would have been easier to just say what the incentive is instead of putting it in a doc.

but the incentive is "inside the doc".
people don't like to read. how can anyone edit if they can't even finish reading the doc? it was instructions and also had what I was offering.
to not bother to read it, then ask me what that are is rude. I had everything on there.
