Okay, I have a stupid question as well. Thanks for the thread OP

Can I change the name of my novel to add a series name without breaking all my current links?

Unfortunately, no, except you change the name without changing the link.

I'm pretty sure there are separate places where you entire the project title and the name that actually goes in the link, so technically the link can remain the same and the novel title could be changed. Probably approach it carefully, though?

Tapas has no relation with webtoon at all. The only relation is the two is a webcomic hosting website. And since the forums is the place where artist talks about their and others works, it's inevitable that webtoon will be often involved in the conversation, plus, they can't talk about things like that in webtoon because webtoon doesn't have a forums.

This is a free place for whoever to talk to their heart content. Maybe because of that the mods make the WEBTOON LIVE category.

Well, at least I think so. XD

Here we go again: What's "mood"? Like, the modern 'social-media' usage of the word. I at first thought it was like saying something is deep, but I've seen it used in so many different contexts that I don't know what to think anymore.

Is it just like saying something is relatable? Like "me af"? That's the only thing that makes sense to me...

According to urban dictionary, yes.

As someone who says "mood" probably too much, yes. It's in the same vein as saying "same" or the much older "gpoy" tag that was popular on tumblr (an acronym for "gratuitous picture of yourself," this tag predatesthe popularity of tagging something as simply "me.")

Is there any way to block categories in the forums that don't really apply to me?

I haven't actually tried it, but go into your forum preferences and find a section called "Categories", there it looks like you can mute categories of your choosing, if that's what you're looking to do.

Worked like a charm!

Thank very much.

This sounds very stupid but...How do you do that thing where you can only color a certain space in Photoshop? Or so you don't color outside the lines? Ahhh! I don't know how to word it! :confounded:

I don't have Photoshop, but I imagine you're talking about one of three things:

  • The fill bucket tool (look for a bucket icon, I guess?)
  • "Lock Alpha", "Lock/Preserve Transparency", or "Lock Transparent Pixels", which makes it so you can't color on any transparent areas within a layer. Transparency is generally conveyed with a white/grey checkerboard pattern, so maybe look for a checkerboard and/or lock icon?
  • Layer Clipping - makes it so anything you draw on the clipping layer is only visible on top of areas of the clipped layer that are not transparent. Kind of like Lock Alpha but with two layers working together.

For the last two, probably try looking everywhere in the layers toolbar / docker / panel.

When you start a new series, how do you submit it to the Writer's Camp? Is it automatic??

No, there is an online form to fill out.You first upload a chapter. Secondly, you add the Nov18WritersCamp hashtag. Thirdly, you submit the form. Lastly, you wait a couple business days and double check the official list to make sure it works.

Oh, I'm so glad I find this thread...
Here is what's been bothering me for a while. Is it okay to upload a series without coverart? I mean I know it is possible. But would it make a negative impact on how the novel is looked on?
