That's some great progress! Keep up the great work! You've definitely worked on your composition.

Here's one of my first pages from 2019:

And here's one of my newer pages from 2023!:

I've worked hard on making my art better, I've studied alot and still have alot to grow.

My art is full of improvisations, like Huevo spitting out his drink! Sometimes if I get the right feeling about a expression I try it out and sometimes it makes the story all the better.

That's awesome! I love seeing the growth in composition happening here too!

In 2019 I was playing with a more of a cartoonish style (but certainly under-developed/unpolished).

As I shook off the rust, I really enjoyed making more realistically-proportioned characters with less cartoony features. I feel like I'm in the process of trading my love for old Ninja Turtles with my admiration for the artists that handle the property today. I also brought my photoshop game which I had been honing for a few years in my day job.

Now I'm trying to find joy in backgrounds. There's not a lot of actual stuff in this scene (set-dressing is one of my future goals)- but I was able to find joy in the cobblestone. I feel like I laid ALL of that cobblestone :joy:

Your progress on the characters is amazing, especially the special effects on the light. As for the last panel, you're evolving. I love how detailed you made the background. Great job!

Beyond the improvement in lineart and anatomy, which is common, there are two improvements I'd like to highlight. Also taking in consideration I draw with a mouse.

1.The improvement in the way I draw things catching on fire and the fire itself

I love the way fire looks in compositions and I'm glad to finally be able to draw it the same way I envision how it would look in a panel.

.

2. The big dynamic panels where a big action occurs!

This ones are the type I love drawing the most and I'm getting more used to them. In this example, both are big explosions of kinetic energy

Fantastic! You can see so much improvement. The original still gets the point across, but I love the perspective and details on the redraw. :grinning::+1:

Well, I, for one, think that my lineart on 'big important portrait close ups' has noticeably changed

ALSO I'm getting a better hang on chaotic dynamic fight shots ehehehe

Nice! it looks you've improved on the fire effects, and the kinetic energy effects. Also making the background darker, and characters having a deeper shade is good too. Great work.

I love how expressive you made for the characters, also the punch to the face scene with the expression of the guy is really good, especially the dash of the fist with an impactful background is perfect.

I've been drawing her for almost 10 years now, and she's gone through an enormous evolution!

Now that's an amazing evolution! I especially love her current suit design. Do you publish your comic here on Tapas? What's the name of your comic?
