Episode 8: where one of the characters finally rethinks his life and realizes he needs help to improve his mental health.

Awesome! So pumped to find a new reason to navel-gaze (don't tempt me, because I'll do it!).

The moment I'm most proud of is two-fold. A couple chapters ago I was really happy with the intensity of this fight scene. The villains speech was pitch perfect, the lovers' lament was heartbreaking (and the reader reaction was so stinking rewarding). It was tough, because my personality wants to resolve tension where I can, so I had a hard time holding back FOR WEEKS as the scene played out and the fates of the characters were revealed. Then in the scene's aftermath, as the chapter scrolls through, each character's reactions of grief hit really well and the last image (pictured here) still gives me chills.

Hey- thanks for giving me a forum to appreciate the little wins on my webcomic journey!

One of the best moments in dan was when officer slash was first introduced into the story.

It was written a long time ago, but I think this was the moment where my MCs true nature was reflected best.

Text wall

The time was 8:20 when a sweet scent started wafting in the air, stemming from the waiting room. They had spread the Halothane in the air.

I walked away from the lounge room and took a seat on one of the many chairs placed around the station. A wall on my left illustrated the time while the train stood majestically in front of me.

I wonder just how many people are meant to die on that train. I could go inside and warn the people. Even if I do nothing, absolutely nothing, there’s a good chance many will survive.

8:22

2 janitors walked into the waiting room with a mask on. The sweet scent of the Halothane crept its way to my nose. Very few people walked around the station, leaving most of it empty. Quite a few also started moving back to the train, as it would leave soon.

8:26

The janitors left the room and dragged their carts all the way to the train; they went into what would be our compartment. Their cart swayed left and right, carrying a load it wasn’t meant to. Even fewer people remained at the station, as the train would set off again in a few minutes.

8:28

The janitors made their way inside the train. A swaying tuft of alba hair found itself in my peripheral vision. Nea had walked up and sat down next to me.

“I see it went well, Nea,”

“It did. I still don’t know if this will work, though. Ivan.”

“Maybe it will, maybe it won’t. Only time will tell.”

8:29

“Huh? Well, should we move now?” Nea spoke as she slowly raised herself from her seat. Without turning towards her, I grabbed her hand and pulled her back down.

“Wait, just a bit.”

“Oh? Okay?”

The second hand of the clock kept inching forward. Slowly, it ticked. Before I could even realize it, I had a brilliant smile plastered over my face.

8:30

A wave of heat.

A burst of air.

A thundering boom.

Boom~

Flames erupted from the compartment right in front of us as a great explosion swallowed it up. The impact didn’t spare anyone, though. Before even a single shriek could ring out of anyone, the flames reached the other compartments, each of which blew up in the same manner.

Metal, flames, blood, flesh, lives. Everything blasted off the train spectacularly as the entire train was engulfed in a massive explosion, a series of explosions, to be more precise.

Wow,this is awesome!the concept of penny getting those monkey ears is heartfelt. The conflict between the primates and humans is awesome too!I subbed.

Well I just looked at it and Ivan is quite the character!I just see him and think of michael jackson saying "you've been hit by a smooooooth criminoooooo:joy:"

I have a lot of favorite moments. But, I think the moment Phillips family gets killed is my favorite  I just find the scene funny in how dramatic, and ridiculous the whole thing is.

From Episode 2

I don't have a lot of funny parts of my comic, so far (there's some coming), but the bit where Edna catches Lee sneaking out is funny, I think.

I say out of all my strips I've made so far, this is my all time favorite.

Woah, that moment with kari is interesting!I'm curious to find out more about what's going to happen to rune.nice stuff,I subbed
