Best way to capitalize on being a staff pick?

Hey there, been fortunate enough to be chosen as a staff pick/noteworthy comic. One day I popped on and had over 1,100 subs and 7k views. I was stunned.

I'm wondering if there are any suggestions on how to keep the momentum going. I'm posting my third episode early monday morning. But certainly the subscriber influx has lagged. Open to any tips and ideas.

Keep creating and don't get discouraged is really all that you can do!!

I think there's a certain desperation that kicks in when you feel like you don't want to "waste" it -- but like.... bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, and all that! Just keep making your comic and stay focused on your long term goals!

Everyone is gonna have the numbers shoot up, then stop shooting up, then a massive, scary number of people unsubscribe. This always happens and doesn't mean you did anything wrong -- that's just how it works! -- so don't panic! But your numbers still went up, and that larger base is gonna help you reach more people over time.

This is still a long game -- don't sweat it!!!! Just keep doing what you're doing, be as consistent as you can, and make your work the best it can be!

Woo congrats!

I've ended up in the noteworthy section a couple of times which gave me a little boost, although I'm still a long way from that 1k mark!. I can confirm that you'll probably find a scary number of people unsubbing, and for a few months you might find your stats "going backwards" which is a bit disheartening.
Don't blame yourself for this or think it's something you've done, a trap I fell into!

The only other thing I could advise is when I was I took the opportunity to post a little bit more of my buffer since my comic was fairly new.

Lol just after I posted this I ended up on noteworthy, which I don't think has happened before?

There's a real temptation to post an extra update just so I can stay on there as long as I can, but that would really mess up my schedule. Fortunately I think staff picks are up for a set period of time, so at least you don't have that to worry about!
