Welcome to Tapas! And thanks for sharing your comic, I really like it so far. 8^)

Welcom to tapas! I like your comic, it's cute and such a nice read~~Looking forward to more updates :smiley:

Advertise but don't spam your comic. Be consistent in the Forums as well as your updates. That's it. Welcome and enjoy your stay, fellow creator.

Welcome, I love the pages of your comic that you've posted so far. I can't wait to see what future pages you post!

Thanks so much! I'm working on new stuff now, will be on a weekly update schedule soon! 8) Right now it's a little spam to catch up, haha, but I'm glad you're enjoying it, thank you!

Welcome aboard! Well, you are off to a great start by posting so much and hanging out in the forums. Be as interactive here as you can. Post, write, sub, reply, etc... I think you will find this community very helpful and supportive. I know I have. Love your comic. Very original style and very funny. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, so far everyone here has been great and super friendly, I'm trying to be as active as I can on the forums 8) Thank you! Your comic looks great as well, I'm going to have to catch up on reading it 8O <3

Welcome sprakdesigns!, love your art style!. About sharing your comic:
Chose wisely the topics where you post, don`t just shamelessly self promote.
There are many topics about sharing your comic and trading feedback, those are a great start.
People in the forums are very friendly and give great feedback.
Be true to yourself and people will appreciate it (you are already doing that)
Be consistent with your update schedule. While people in Tapas are understanding if a hiatus is necessary, or if you miss a week for personal reasons, you are building your reputation

aaaand....about shameless selfpromotion...
here`s my comic.

Welcome to Tapas, you do a pretty good job with the humor in your comics. See you seem to be going with the "hook" for each page that a lot of Slice of Life comics do, works in this case since each page is self-contained

Shameless self-promotion:

Just checked out your comic. It's good and relatable, haha!

Welcome to Tapas! It's a pretty cool place.

Hey y'all. I'm a pretty noob new comic artist on here, but I started a webcomic called Poison Heart and I'd love some feedback on paneling and typography. Also, if you want me to check out your webcomic in the process, please let me know because I enjoy the styles of others!

Here is the link and I hope you check it out <3

Hi, welcome to tapas! We got a nice community here. Idk how to navigate tapas myself, I just click on random comics haha!

Here's my current comic:

Welcome to...

Okay, your latest comic got me.
Subbed

I'm Grimwit and swear I'm a human and not a deranged fish person.
You can trust me because I'm always right and I never lie.

Hope to see ya in the forums, yo.

Welcome! You're absolutely doing the right thing by introducing yourself on here. Right now the tagging system doesn't really work for searching comics, and discoverability on the front page for new comics is just not that great. So one of the best ways you can be seen is to introduce yourself on the forums and post about your comics in promotion threads "Show me your latest page" "Show me your comics" etc. It's also one of the best ways to get a better idea about who you might like to read, since here we get more space than a thumbnail to describe our comic.

Looking on here is also a really great way to get advice on all kinds of things related to Tapas and comic or novel writing in general, and see all the resources other people are using! People share where they find reference images, programs that help with workflow, font ideas, perspective advice, and all kinds of other great tips. The kind of mentoring you might otherwise pay for (rightfully) is on here for free.

As for your comic, I thought it was hilarious. I got completely sidetracked with it and forgot I was at work (oops) so you've got my sub! Good stuff.

And lastly, the introducing my stuff bit. Eh, trippy/fantasy/horror I guess? No clue if that's your bag. The first one is the most recent work, the others are legacy comics. (Stone Squirrel still in progress as far as uploading it.)

Phew! Well hopefully that reply wasn't too elaborate, and I think you're gonna do swimmingly on here tbh.
