Well there was an old Mexican comedy show where one of the characters was an old lady, and the kids believed she was a witch and had a cat named "Satanas" (Satan in English) so it was hilarous lol.

In the Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, one of the character named his cat "The Lord" even though he's not sure of its existence... Which leads to very funny and misleading dialogues.
If Douglas Adams did it, I guess it can work pretty well !

I wouldn't worry about pleasing or offending certain groups of people when it comes to creating something on the internet, since no matter what you do, there will always be someone out there that will get pissed off over something
just stick to what you feel is good and not worry about it

It's free comic on the internet, anyone who get offended by it are free to move on to other things on the internet
