The feed on my profile page: are posts I make from there viewed exclusively from that page?
If yes, then will some sort of news feed be added sometime in the future?
While the reading list bar is super useful, I think it would also be cool to be able to see posts and updates from those I follow in my profile feed:

Well, you can always make whatever announcement you have into a comic.
I only visit walls to stalk so...

I'm also using the comic description when I have things to say.

I agree with Chuckles and Sow_Ay. Until you gather a big following most readers don't visit your profile for announcements. It's best to make them in comic posts, that way readers are notified of the update and are more likely to see it.

Supporters see little red bubble notification (with number) next to the creator profile for new supporter announcements smile

Yes, but if you're not in the Supporter Program readers won't see that you've updated your profile.

Are you guys going to modify that where all creators show notifications for updated profile posts?

The plan is to add a "notify subscribers?" option when creating a new profile post or editing an existing episode. @ck_tapastic is correct that the little red bubble shows when you've "said" (i.e. posted) something on your wall, but if people are only interested in the comic itself it's easy to miss. Once we add the option to notify subscribers, creators will have to be responsible about how they choose to use the feature... as many fans/readers already complain about getting too many emails and notifications (just from new comics they subscribe to, for example)!
