Is it certain that they use a typed font & aren't painting the letters by hand?

Yeah I'm positive.. a lot of manhwa used the same fony , so for a lot of artist to have the same handwriting is just impossible ya know

Looks like a font that'd usually be used for comic dialogue rather than a typical "sound effect" font.

It's not this one (slightly different), but it's kinda close to this:

ACME Secret Agent

So it could well just be a comics lettering font from Blambot or a similar site.

Hi! I don't really know which font that is but for mine I use 'Digital Strip' for normal text and 'Badaboom' for sfx! It is not quite what you are looking for but you might like it as well.

its called MangaMasterBB and it cost $25 LOL so many webtoon use this haha! they probably bought one license then shared it among themselves.
