My comic takes place on a lawless remote planet once abundant with resources. A global disaster ruined its ecosystem and reduced the landscape to nothing but dirt and whatever plants that manage to survive. The destruction revealed a far greater resource; glitter. With this discovery, began a type of glitter-rush, with people rushing the planet having to mine resources in an attempt to get rich. Over the years, the population grew and changed, cities rising and falling. The rich elite and their glitter-mining corporations built nearby cities on orbiting moons, sending their contracted mercenaries to keep order in the mining colonies, sabotage rivals, wreak havoc or whatever else they need them for. Mercenaries are now also part of a reality show that is now the most watched show in the galaxy.

The cities on the planet itself are most like the wild west covered in neon lights with minimal technology. The farther away from the mining cities you get, the more high-tech, clean and cared for the cities get.

I describe it as Lisa Frank/Mad Max. To me, this is like, a weird amalgamation of all my interests, lol. I love post-apocalyptic stuff, muscle cars, Heavy Metal, Mad Max, Judge Dredd, drawing mostly-naked people, sex, violence, ridiculous situations, sci-fi, and so on.
I'm from Sacramento, California, and I put a ton of references to it in this comic. Probably too-on-the-nose with my references that now I'm regretting some of my decisions, lol. This was fun, thanks for the thread revival, guys!
