Chill and Relax

I'm not sure if we're supposed to do threads like this but I'm working on a novel and I just feel like talking to people. But I don't have most of you on Discord or PM so I can't bother you out the blue, so I decided to make a thread to talk in while I work.

Sounds simple, right?

Well, the added on thing is that I pulled an all-nighter, and I'm doing a late entry into the Writer's Camp because despite my presence on the form - I totally missed what it was about.

So! Let's talk while I work. About anything if you like, writing, art, you name it.

Hey! I'm chilling and relaxing and not really sure if I want to go to bed. I know how it is pulling all nighters, and it looks like it's heading in that direction because at this point it feels like one of those cases of "it's too late now so I might as well stay up." I'm a comic artist + writer and I always have a lot on my plate. I have to finish up the next page of one of my comics by Monday, and I've had a lot of work unrelated to that haha.

I hope you're finding your groove for the Writer's Camp! Sometimes I feel like I'm more creative later at night haha.

Yeah, there's something about the night time and everything being quiet that helps with writing. But it's about 7AM now and my gut is growling which means everything is waking up again. I'm only hoping I don't have to go to work today so I can spend the day flowing through this.

As for the Writer's Camp, I just finished the story's cover. I just have to figure out how I'm going to word this summary.

I'm feeling the same, super hungry but I don't really wanna go get anything and wake anyone up, haha. I also hope you don't have to work today tbh, interrupting workflow is always one of those unfortunate and frustrating things.

Sorry it took me a little while to respond, I was making breakfast for me and my grandparents. Anyway, I'll check later to make sure that I don't have to go to work. For right now it's waiting on coffee and talking to you guys. Oh but FN, if there's snacks or something, you should eat those. Eating a late breakfast will just throw your whole eating schedule off... if you have one that is.

As for posting up stuff, the last story I had was "The Writing Paradox" in October 2017. I stopped writing it because I broke out of my writing block and the purpose of it was to stop the writer's block. So, I'll be focusing on the series I'm bringing up for The Writer's Camp. If you guys want, I wouldn't mind showing the cover. It's pretty minimalistic because I'm a pretty simple kinda guy.

I'm gonna need some coffee myself, but a snack would probably be a good idea. I'd be interested in seeing the cover for your current project! Do you usually make your own illustrations as well as writing?

Nah. Maybe if I devoted more time to learning how to draw, I would. Right about now, I just make simple things with different programs. Off topic but for some reason I'm still hungry.

Anyway, the cover is this:

It's not much to behold but there is a point for everything that's in it. For every story I've ever made, I always make a cover for it and keep a notebook for it. This one in particular has a blue composition notebook and that as the cover itself.

I really like this cover, it has that clean look to it and a tagline that acts like a kind of hook. I could see this being a real logo of some kind.

Thank ya kindly. And yeah, I could see it being more of a logo especially with the rainbow colors . So I guess you could say that it's the logo for my novel. And aww, you guys flatter me.

Yo! I'm lazy and the heat is all the way up in Colorado,, I'm working on my comic right now and am considering coloring pages, but I'm a bit lazy, decisions decisions haha. I wish you the best on your writing adventures though, thanks for starting up a chill thread.

Productivity is probably the hardest thing known to man but you got this. Just start on it and keep going like a progress loading bar for a video game. XD And thanks for the well-wishes, I needed a chill thread so I could unwind.
