Cinematic screencap type of webcomic, recommendation?

I'm looking for inspiration. I'm working on my webcomic and I'm thinking of taking a more "cinematic" approach with subtitles on the bottom and all that stuffs. But I second guess myself right now haha.
There isn't a lot of comic like that and it can gets tricky.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about here some samples.
Most artists I found, don't make comic they only take this approach for illustration purposes so I don't really know how it would feel in a webtoon format (except my own test).

If you find a webcomic like that would you take a look or is it a turn-off because it doesn't respect the usual comic and webtoon standard ?
And if you thought about doing it or thinking about doing it right now, any tips ?

Thanks for sharing this guys stuff. He's got a lot of good pieces. I'm not an expert at this stuff but i'd recommend getting a very good mind for colors. As long as you know what you're doing and how to do it with little delay, you could probably do it. However, i'd advise you to keep this comic of yours short since the detail could be taxing on effort and time.

Neokosmos was a webcomic (not on tapas or webtoon) that did a similar approach. I think the hardest part would be clarity, since you can’t as easily show who’s speaking or convey as much emotion through lettering, so the art would have to be very clear to portray that. But I like how it looks! I would recommend studying film composition instead of comic panels to get that cinematic feel to it.

SUPERPOSE is the only webcomic I can think of with a cinematic style, or at least the only one I know that feels like seeing stills from a movie. It's really good so far, I highly recommend it!

@TimCaloweh Thanks ! Yup, having a good balance between productivity and quality is definitely something I have in mind while working on this project.

But it's kinda sad that midway through they abandon this approach.

Pff yeah, it is! I can understand how how difficult it would be to tell a story like that, though. It'd take a loooot of pages to get through a scene since all the panels would be large frames.

I always wanted to make my comics like this, I love that cinematic style.

But a big part of that "cinematic style" is the very wide aspect ratio, and webcomic sites aren't horizontally-inclined. Neither will it be friendly for readers, who are most likely looking through their vertically-oriented phones.

I've tried this in one page, where there were very wide shots. It didn't sit well. Readers complained about it not being legible because of the points I've made above.
