Hey fellow higher education students from college and university, lets use this topic to promote our comics
Here's what you do

1- First you talk about what you're doing in college and university, what course you study and how long till you finish
2- Second you describe your comic giving us the general gist of what its about and what to expect if you're reading it
3- Finally you post your comics link so people interested can start reading it.

Its not a sub for sub topic, its just a way to promote your comic while talking about your educational life and anyone interested in your series will be able to read it and sub to it if they find it interesting or it matches their taste.

So I'll go first
1- I'm a general medicine student, aiming to become a sports medicine doctor since I am very passionate about sports, especially MMA and would love to work in their sports centers helping the athletes extend their sporting careers, if that doesn't work I can always still use my knowledge to become an orthopaedic since they are closely related. It takes about 6 years to finish the general medicine course and I'm entering my 5th year this winter semester so wish me luck

2- My comic is called The Rolling Stone and it is an action comic based in the modern world where supernatural beings exist and are monitored by a special organization called the GMCO, the main character gets caught up with the them and then begins his adventures with them as he is trying to find what he wants to do in life and this will at least provide some entertainment for him. It is a long form story and is scheduled for monthly episodes (being a medical student doesn't allow me to create as many episodes as possible, plus I create the art, paneling and dialogue by myself, while my friend deals with the major story arcs and directions, so I'm stuck with the more time consuming part of the comic making process)

3- Here's my comic link if you're interested in it and want to join the ride with me and my friend as we're creating the story

So now its you guys turn, I'm more of a fan of action comics so that's what I'll personally be looking for when you guys promote yours

Hello hello :eyes:

  1. I'm studying mechanical engineering here , just finished my second year. I'm doing a internship for 6 six months soon. The entire course is four years. I'm not too sure where I will exactly end up working, as mechanical engineering is a very broad study.

  2. My comic is called Rise of the Heroes. It's about a young sorcerer with a dark side who sets out on a journey to find his dad. Along the way he meets several comrades and enemies as well.
It's a action/fantasy comic, I draw fighting scenes rather frequently.
Being a mechanical engineering student does take its toll as I can't post very frequently or regularly for that matter

Hi!

  1. I'm currently taking education as my major because I want to become a teacher.

  2. My webcomic is Life's Lemonade. It's a slice of life comedy about a cartoon version of myself going through her daily life. The events in the comic are very loosely based on my real life experiences, only more weird.

  3. The link~

  1. I am currently studying Sequential Art and Comics at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I'm getting my bachelor's right now, and I'm going to stay on and get my Masters so I can teach in the Sequential Art Department myself.

  2. My comic Hollow is the story of a former teenage anime magical hero. When Skyler was 14, he was chosen to be the Amulet Keeper, to find and seal all of the magical Amulets wreaking havock on the world. After he sealed the final Amulet, everything ended - The magic was gone, his talking animal companion vanished, and his team broke up. Now Skyler is 21 and trying to learn to be a normal person - go to college, get a crappy retail job, and live in a magicless world.

Nice thread!
1. I'm studying industrial engeneering and I just finished my second year, I still have to pass some subjects tho. Next year I'll have to specialize in one of the branches for the next two years and I think I'll choose mechanical engeneering focused on machines.
2. My comic is called Burning Shadows. It's about an amnesiac dragon like girl who wants to find who she is in a world where both magic races have gone missing while being chased by a strange cult. It's a fantasy/adventure (and romance hehehe) comic that I'm trying to update weekly.

Oh cool!
1. I am a biology major aiming for a B.A. degree in the field. I plan to go to graduate school and become a PA(physician assistant). Medicine and helping people have always interested me so I thinks it's a great fit! I should graduate in the spring of next year.
2. My comic is a light-hearted action-adventure story about three teens facing trials to find a goddess. It has Saturday morning cartoon vibes with a lot of good banter from the main characters. There will be a few twists and turns in the future but overall I think it a fun and easy to get into comic!
3.

Nice biology, i really loved the subject back in highschool, sounds cool, i really like your comic art so I've subscribed n will give it a read

1.I'm currently a Ph.D first year studying Animal Genetics and Breeding in Kerala, India. It's going to be another 2 years minimum until I'm done and with this full COVID situation. probably even longer.

  1. My comic is a rom com slice of life piece, based on conversations between me and my partner. I've kept each one as short as possible and they are unconnected so you can start from anywhere. Even if you're bingeing it, you can finish it in less than 10 minutes.

I'm always open to concrit and thank you for this wonderful thread. I never expected to get such an amazing response when I started and I'm hoping to reach 50 subs by the end of this week. Including a picture for reference.

  1. I'm majoring in Biology in hopes of being a Veterinarian. I technically have 2 years left to get my biology degree, and 6 years left for Veterinary school, but tbh I don't really know what I want to with my life and that's scary. There are other options I want to try if I change mind about becoming a veterinarian like one of the field in forensic science or something with art(freelancing or something equivalent to it).

  2. My comic is about a girl who is destined to have an immortal life, and there are things as well as people that try to lead/convince her to that fate, and the fact is that she doesn't want to be immortal, so she tries everything she can to avoid i, falling in love in the process. Her avoiding what needs to be done will have dire consequences on her physical being as well as her future. I upload every four or five days.

3.My comic:

  1. I am studying animation and I'm about to begin my third year.
  2. My webcomic is called Knights of Geomora, it's about a girl and her family as they adjust to life outside of the capitol and uncovering a hidden mystery.
  3. Here is the link if you are interested!
  1. I am a senior in college, and I'm studying studio art, with a focus in painting. I'd like to use what I've learned to pursue a career in freelance art work, and I'd really like to publish a comic book some day

  2. My comic is called Merry Mondays, a series of short, absurdist gags that revolve around mostly mundane situations.

  3. You can check it out in the links below!

  1. I am a junior in college and i'm currently studying for graphic design.
  2. My webcomic is about societal issues and superhumans.
  3. If anyone is curious on my webcomic here is a link.
  1. I'm currently a senior student for my BA in Psychology and I'll soon be moving into either a Master's program or PhD depending on what different grad schools offer. Then I will begin working as a clinical therapist!

  2. My comic, Murphy's Law, is a slice of life superhero comic that follows the life of Kit Dower, a mutant teen with the ability to freeze time, and how she begins to understand that her actions as a villain has consequences she wasn't prepared for. If you enjoy x-men, comic of age stories, action, and character driven plots, you should have a good time with this story!
