Now that you mention it... I never thought there where that many "hero" novel, comics, anime or movies... I guess we all just take to memory 5 or 6 of them.
(Deadpool is awesome XD and love one-punch man) But agreed "hero" themed works should be thought out planned, there needs to be a balance, between comedy or action, strength and weaknesses... I guess a good idea if was to plan my own "hero story" would be someone who tries to help/safe people but has no power (that can almost be cliché to some) but if the odds against them is set up to be realistic and less:
No academies, school for "gifted", Pocket dimension, leagues/teams, what have you...
And as stated "Please collaborate" it is preferred there's already a good plot outline, not just an idea. I'm working on some scripts right now for short random comedy stuff (stuff that happened or someone said that is really funny) but just cause I have the idea don't mean I have to get an artist to collaborate now since it's still just ideas; same with my "Mermaid's Treasure Novel" I want to see it become a comic but I'm not hell bent on it since the idea for comic is still far off I'm still building on outlines
@bloodydiamond91 I'm sure your idea can be great and I'm the last person to tell anyone to dump an idea they have cause there so many "other" works already encompassing the idea, my motto is any idea is worth building onwards into something; hence why get so frustrated when I see people throwing away their hard work - keep it for later instead. Maybe the ide will blossom well when you add other elements to it? If want an artist to Collaborate with you maybe show some more background to why your idea is worth infesting.
I've just recently started learning to draw properly (I mean stuff that don't look like stick figures) but art takes time and patience and a lot of effort, an artist will want to be assured any amount of time they put into bringing your "idea" to life won't just be laying on a shelf in a month's time.
I think that is what @TimCaloweh and I might mean (no offense for speaking on your behalf though Tim, correct me if at all wrong)
