game Idea:
-the person above you makes a request about what kind of comic they want to read-then you reply with a fitting title (can be your own or not as long as it fits the bill) - add your own comic request
Rules: you can reply to someone who's request has already been filled, as long as you write your own request.
if you want to be very specific, go ahead, but also include a more general version of your request so the game doesn't stop
have fun!!...
I'm gonna make the start:
I look for a fantasy comic that has a badass female protagonist!
I hope this one will go for your request:
I look for a comics about the person who have overcome (or at least try to overcome) a depression. I've already seen this one and this one, related to this thematic, so please don't suggest them (despite both are good).
Well, now I feel guilty, like I've killed this thread with too complicated request Let me suggest more simple request as well: GL comics with not too much sugar
Thisss one
My request: comic with vaporwave/ cyberpunk/ futuristic aesthetic
it's already really well known, but I think the aesthetic would be a close fit!
uhh I request something steam punk :3
@LiaThese ones look quite interesting and steampunky:
@dawgofdawgness Premium futuristic:
Non-premium futuristic:
Cool mechanical aesthetics:
Request philosophical comics with abstruse reasoning
@tired_programmerI don't know if this fits what you want since I had to google some of the words (like abstruse ) but I hope it fits!
For GL there's also this one I'm reading: https://tapas.io/series/Belfry
I'm looking for some cool delinquent comics or something that explores dreams, I'm already reading Dreamwalker Felix and Goodnight Unknown just fiy! <3
Man you gotta read The Property of Hate - It's not on tapas, and I haven't read it in a long time so I dunno if it's finished/abandoned/still going - but what's there is some of the best dream-exploration stuff I've read.
http://thepropertyofhate.com/
this doesn't quite fit your request but Hadephobia has characters exploring a lot of dream-like environments. (it's also just really great)
Also my first minicomic is based on an old dream journal entry
I guess for my request I wan't some fun retro-futuristic space age stuff? I don't ever find enough sci-fi.
Retro-futuristic spaceshippy sci-fi!!! "Fun" isn't really the best word to describe this one, though; it's more gentle and introspective.
Give me a comic set in the real world, preferably a location that we don't see all the time in movies/ shows/ etc. (New York City is great and all, but I wanna see more love for other places!)
I actually read this one UWU Thanks tho it deserves the promotion :V
A comic in which the protagonist has to overcome depression
One of the two protagonists in this fantasy romance comic is Balor, a Famori princess who has been imprisoned in a cave by her own people.
fantasy comic with a badass female protagonist
She's a siren in a long running feud with a pirate queen.
futuristic, cyber-punk aesthetic
I'm on a roll, baby!
Steampunk
You may have stumped me. The closest I can get is Victorian body horror:
philosophic comic with adtruse reasoning
The characters each represent a different mathematical equation, and their angles are all obtruse. Seriously though, the humor is mostly math based with the occasional pun, so I get less than 1 in twenty of these jokes. That is as abtruse as I can get.
@Zaboem ... you are awesome??
but don't forget to post your own request!
Cool delinquents
This comic just ended a couple of weeks back. It's about tweens in a orphanage who get involved in hunting monsters. It has at least once significant dream scene. Overall, it feels like Homestuck without all of the self-importance.
omg the shadeeeee xD
retro-futuristic space age sci-fi comic
Whew, is linking a form of cardiovascular exercise? I'm feeling tired.
comic set in an unusual real world location
History comic about the first Gulf War in 1990, it takes place in Kuwait and Iraq.
Bonus answer: This short horror comic took place at Windigo Lake which I think is in Canada. There is also a Windigo Lake in Wisconsin, so it is one or the other.
Okay, I thought of a request. I want to see an allegory, a story in which the main character is a metaphor for something else.
