Comic Resolution problem?

I usually draw each panel on 4000x4000 canvas then put all the panels together and re-size it. After re-sizing , the quality is usually really bad. Does anyone know how to resize pictures without losing so much quality?

I have the same problem bud. My manga pages are all in 720x1200. I could I upload it. Resizing kinda reduce my quality I can't do the same :/

How large do you draw your comic?

TL:DR - working large file size/dpi is best and then dropping down the resolution to 72 dpi in photoshop or a similar program when ready to post.

The page looks to be excellent quality. There's no pixelation and the lines and type are crisp and smooth.

What are you expecting it to look like?

Your comic looks fine to me. I'm guessing each panel is it's own image on the taptastic page. When you go to shrink it down to the 940 wide, what quality is it set at? What program do you use? I might be able to help you with the saving process.

The quality of your comic looks fine to me. Try checking how your page looks in small size, then fix what you don't like on big size canvas, check it gain and then resize it.

The lines look crisp and clean to me, I'm not sure what makes you feel like the quality is so bad? Do the lines look blurry to you?

This example might be completely unrelated to what your problem is, but I once had a problem with my website where the font I used for some reason ended up pixelated and weird - in the middle of sentences it could even switch between different fonts! When I asked others to look at it (from their own computers), they didn't see anything wrong with it, it looked the way it was supposed to. In the end it turned out that I just hadn't installed the latest updates to my browser, and that was the reason things didn't look right on my computer screen.

Not that it's necessarily your browser that's the problem, but if everyone else here doesn't see the quality loss you're experiencing, it could be that the problem actually has nothing to do with the resizing of your comic. But I'm not an expert on this
