I assume since I asked honestly, it might be ok. Feel free to pm me links instead if anyone likes ^^ Will update top post if I can!
Am in the market for some new swag and would love to see what this community has to offer. Feel free to pm me instead if anyone is worried about getting in trouble for solicitation.
Did you get it? How is it working?
Just curious how it's going. What are your fave parts?
Broke my knee and ran off Tap for 2 months...
Still working on some invites. Just going slow. Been super busy w the day job.
Yup! Just lookin' for folks who are doing a comic, or have been doing one and are planning their next, etc. Comic writers are cool too.
Sent out four invites.
Not really. No one's really been collabing to any fruition. We do enjoy drawing together in google hangouts, though.
Title about says it all. Currently have a handful of spaces but will be doing invites slowly. The group is about making friends and making comics with friends. Folks over 18 only. No drama allowed. For new faces, you must give me a link to your current project. Tell me a little about you, etc.…
Diego is right. Not everyone has tipping. You don't like it, turn it off? You're in charge of it, buddy. Don't like tipping as an artist? Don't use it. Pretty sure the tips and the ads add up together. I've been on hiatus for nearly a year and I still get ad rev. Why are you so sour about not …
Uh... it's only $25. It's not a fortune. I'd rather wait and get 25$ (or in this case I've been sitting on a good bit more for over a year) than get money soon with an added transaction fee to pay of the big credit card companies. Under OP's words, as I am understanding it is: A) Better to g…
Another bumpity. We're currently on a big rant on ninja mosquitoes. Though, everyone's also be sharing some sweet work on their comics too!
Would still need a link to your active projects
Giving this a bumparoonie
The server groups stay small ~ 25 people Friendly, and very supportive. Active, even after several years! Both are also for those making comics in some way (artists and writers and multi-pantsers welcome!) NSFW channels, vent channels, workshops, and a relaxing lounge. Google hangout nights! Sp…
That's all there is to it! Scrivener vs Celtx?
Pretty much exactly like the title says. I use Clip for ALOT of stuff (esp inks) but am wanting to do more painterly color work in PS. But I"m drowning in brushes! Do ya'll use anything to organize yours into smaller groups?
The Surface Pro 4's are on sale for Black Friday for 350$ off and I think will be around 600$ Did the sale last year for 500 or 550 I think.
My yiyinova is two years old now and still on love with it. Cintique is the "name" folks go to because they held the market via patent for years so if you wanted a pressure sensitive drawing monitor, there WAS no other choice. Now there are choices, and VERY good ones at that. Ones that hold t…
I also recommend drawing at a fairly higher resolution/size that what you need. I mean, an american comic fits in your hand but is most often done at 11"x17" That will take care of some wobble. What will also help is to make sure you're doing your best to make fairly quick, confident, strokes. …
For your firework, change the expression color to red/another color or red. The previews are just there in bright colors to help you see the pattern on a tiny small scale. You circled where you need to change it to color.
Not a bad sale. And a great program. If money is SUPER tight though, they put the basic version down to 15$ about 1-2x a year :3
Should also mention we have web-designers, programmers, and con veterans.
So it's that time again to open things up to 1-2 fresh faces and perspectives! It is small and private and invite only, but quite active and friendly to newcomers! We have folks from all different backgrounds and styles, but one thing in common - makin' teh' comics. Outside of the main lounge the…
Tumblr, Smack Jeeves, self host
Magic works too!
Nice page
The branch option might disturb the leaves and debris natural to the forest floor, and depending on how done, could leave an even more prominent path. If there's no tracking dogs, and depending on the traffic of the forest, you would want to stay away from any well beaten path. Stagger your steps…
Looking for some opinions. More panels per page for faster pacing but slower updates vs Less panels per page for on-time updates Life is making me choose one.
How to do comics properly. HAHAHA
