Thank you @keii4ii for posting this. I rarely check my email, so I was not aware of any newsletter. And thank you @CyndiFoster for copy/pasting the actual contents of the newsletter for us to read.
When I first started reading this thread, I was freaking out thinking I would have to delete my series, but I think I understand better now. I really appreciate @michaelson and @minzinger for taking the time to explain everything and really spell it out for us. Honestly, this doesn't happen a lot on many sites - usually the admins or moderators seem to have a massive superiority complex and don't want to waste time explaining things... It's very nice to know you guys, and the whole Tapastic staff, are actually working with the creator and readers to make this site the best it can be for everyone.
I do want to take a moment to make sure I am actually understanding the major points, here (please correct me if I am wrong!):
1) When uploading a new episode, it should be strictly about the comic, and not used for outside advertising/spam.
2) Seasonal/Holiday mini episodes and/or hiatus updates, milestone subscriber "thank you" posts, etc. are acceptable, but may cause you to lose subscribers.
3) Keii4ii should not be worried about your subscribers NOT being fans because your comic is amazing!
4) Tapastic staff has a lot of updates in the works, and are actually listening to our feedback.
Hugs all around
