Comics with real pictures?

I had done sometime ago a comic strip that has a real scene. Id like to post here at tapastic someday, maybe tomorow but, is there any restrictions about comics with real pictures? Is not the entire comic but is based on a real situation and I really don't know if it's permited this kind of mixing. Anyone knows?

If you mean photos, you would need to have the rights to use the photos in question! Photography is an art, too, so you don't want to steal somebody's work and paste it in your comic.

If they are photos you took or photos you've gotten the rights to then you should be fine -- there are a lot of photocomics out there, and I don't see anything in the content policy that says work has to be drawn. :>

Do you mean "real pictures" as in photographs, or have you drawn something that happened to you in real life?

As long as it's stylized right, there shouldn't be a problem.
Some good examples are Beefpaper, which has real backgrounds but drawn over characters,
There's the DaneMen which shows a lot of photo-realism,
and that's all I can think of. There are others out there that use real life pictures for everything, but some go too far.

I understand, yes, it's photos, but since it's a photo of a celebrity in a complicated situation that many websites used. better not to post. Thanks!

Not really the case, but you gave-me the Idea, the only photo in the comic I can make as a stylized drawing of the scene. Thanks for the idea!

There is a style of comics called Fumetti which does this - so it is definitely a 'thing' - but yeah, you need to own the pictures.
