Crazy ideas for your next comic?

So I know we all are currently in the midst of projects. Mine is Aetherwar. But I find every once in awhile wondering what my next series would be.

For me I have been thinking about a series I would call Grimmearth. It would have all the fairy tale characters in it (your Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks etc) in a magitech futuristic world. They would basically form a superhero team (Red with a chainsaw and lupo (sawn of shotgun) - the berserker, Goldielocks as a sniper (got to get it perfect), Alice as a demented psycho possesed by an ever smiling cat, Johnnie Green as a serial killer (go check up the nursery rhyme) etc.)

How about you? What's your imagination that you got to put on hold for the sake of your current story?

i'm actually done with all my comics at the moment, just uploading old ones to get a few subs and a different audience. I'm currently wanting to start a comic, have the story written out, background and character refs finished. I'm holding it off until I can find the right time.

It's about a guy in his early twenties, left law school a year in due to money problems and spends his time working in a restaurant to save up for college. He meets some old acquaintances at his job from highschool who invite him out for a drink. After he agrees he finds himself cursed with a massive unpredictable angry demon and forced to change his life completely, running away from civilization and trying to find solace.

My newest idea is about two characters, one's pretty much an unsocial hermit and the other a cute nomad wanting attention, and their personalities are totally opposite, but they become friends eventually. Slice of life kinda deal in a fantasy setting. I already showed the concept ideas to my friends and they love it already :'D

Oh really? I read that term in Robert Ludlum's The Matarese Circle. He's more famous for The Bourne series though. Can't remember which country it was they called it a Lupo

My OC uses double luparas so I had to look hem up.
I just assume that the character you mentioned just named them that way by himself. Like giving names to pets. I'm not here to argue though, just wanted to let you know the proper terminology.

I'm thinking to make 5 issues of my comic and maybe start a graphic novel I have in mind for a while named Drakalvania, this novel is about dreams I had in the past, i have a dream diary and i'm putting things together to make it coherent. Already have the world, the characters and now i'm writing the story of Drakalvania.

It's about a place in another dimension, but it's connected to Earth and everything that happens in Drakalvania it happens in our planet someway, and there's some agent of order, agent of fire, wind, water, earth, lightning, forest, ice, life and death. Every agent has a student to succeed him/her, and the agent of death is looking for a pupil on planet earth. That's more or less I have so far

I have so many ideas that I want to eventually peruse after I finish City of Blank (some day).
I've been debating for years which one I'd pick up next...only to come up with a completely brand new idea like just last month that I'm really excited to work on some day.

Basically, I wanna do something a bit lighter and more comedy. It centers around the concept of people always promising demons their "first born son."
So basically, 18 years ago the dad of the main character made a deal with a demon to bring his wife back in exchange for his first born son.
18 years later, demon comes to collect first born son. First born son is a freaking NEET who probably watches hentai all day and is overall a loser. Second born son is extremely smart, successful, and has a beyond promising future. Regretful demon quickly realizes mistake and is stuck with loser first born under certain circumstances. Oh yeah and the mom the demon brought back is a zombie. Hijinks ensue.

I had an idea for a short comic about a wizard, a short old man, and a former stripper who all go to an orphanage to adopt a baby together. Why did I put it on hold? Because I thought it would be "too bizarre" and I have no idea who it would appeal to.

I'm not very good at sitting waiting for inspiration to strike so I tend to doodle things and let ideas grow from there. The doodle below made me think of a Sci-Fi story that would be totally beyond my wisdom and ability, I suspect. Something about a group of pilots attending a flight academy in the future. Would be seriously cool to explore and perhaps by the time West is over I'll be a little more confident in my execution.

I've been working on a comic of my own for a while now although its no where near as finished. Afterimage.

I have been knocking around a few ideas for another story. Basically I wanted to subvert/deconstruct the kids with pet monsters trope. The story takes place 25 years ago where a giant meteorite came to earth bringing an alien lifeforms known as I.S.O's (intelligent silicon based organisms) powerful creatures that telepathically link to a human host. To deal with this crisis is the Department of Xenobiological Relations, (DXR) who are responsible for taking care of crime pertaining to I.S.O use and the relocation of hosts away from civil society.

At the heart of the story is the relationship between humans, hosts, and I.S.Os. How people view them with an emphasis on the autonomy of I.S.Os and their desires and needs as individuals as a people.

I've got a story about a dude who works odd jobs that I really want to make, but I haven't found the right tone for execution. It either gets way too dark or way too exploitation-y. I spent all last summer on it, but just couldn't get a feel for it.

I also want to revive an old sci fi comic of mine but make it smarter and make it less hard sci-fi and more gore. It's just a really long story, so I haven't wanted to dive into it for a while.

I have like 5 others I want to do once I'm done with my comic Pecan Pie. BUT....

I'm thinking to do "The Most Original Story Ever" (I was 13 when I came up with it and the title stuck) Basically, an Evil King tries to destroy all threat to the throne, the main character, Gillian, and her relative survive, and end up as cabin boy(and girl) to a pirate ship. After some years and issues pass, they get marooned on a floating- island with a shipwrecked-aeroship. They get it up and running (after discovering a gruesome magic ritual), get captured by elves, find a dragon promising glory and go off to recruit some people who are down for revolution.

It's going to be a challenge o do though because the main character is basically every bad choice you can make in Dragon Age.

That actually sounds cool! My only questions would be why? What is the motive for the wizard, the short man and a former stripper to adopt a child? Why all THREE? Does the wizard need an apprentice? Has the old man's desire for children with his wife never come to fruition and even though she's gone, he still wants a kid? Does the stripper see themselves in the child?
