Creating "chapter folders" for those who update page per page?

But that still leaves the whole navigation issue there, it's not like putting up those pages helps your readers to be able to find the content their looking for more quickly, which is under my impression the whole idea here. Not saying that adding bookmarks is not a bad idea, or people who have been following for an entire "season" this helps, but for the new readers, how do they navigate and know where to begin without scrolling through possibly endless pages (My favorite, Dungeon Hordes has abo 1200 posts and I've only read about 30 because of how much of an issue this is.)

I think as an option it can benefit everyone yeah! If you don't need it, don't use it.

I think for longer comics it's a great idea so it doesn't turn away readers from seeing a long list of "catching up to do". So having at least one folder feature per episode would be pretty helpful

I asked them about this during one of their live Q&A sessions, and @michaelson's answer was, quote and quote, "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Noooooooooooooooooooooooo." Because apparently it requires a massive overhaul of the current system and they don't have the resource to do it. :[

But here's to hoping. Maybe some day, one of us will win the lotto and be able to hire some extra (wo)manpower for Tapastic to make this happen!

I think there should be an option to have edits/add-ons to an episode basically alert subscribers the same as if you added a new episode. There are so many benefits to having several pages within one episode, such as easier reading flow and Soundcloud music that last for an entire scene.

@LogantheAdventurer We already have that option. You get a popup asking if you want to notify the readers, if you have uploaded a new image file to the episode. HOWEVER the notification will go to their regular notification center rather than their reading list...

yeah that's what i mean. i don't think notifications carry the same weight as seeing that your favorite comic has a new episode, at least not for me

Well there are still several problems with that : if it becomes a regular update, some could abuse it by just replacing their file with the same one just to get on top of the fresh section and gain views I guess...Although I don't think any would because they'd probably end up losing their readers because of all the false notifs...

But I follow a bunch of comics that only update the same episode and the main problem I see with that is that you can only like once and it's discouraging to post a comment and to read them because you don't know wich page they're gonna be about... (or you have to be very detailed).

Yeah, another problem with updating existing episodes is that eventually they also get pretty damn long and readers keep having to scroll to where they were reading. It's just a bit of a pain for anything that's not a vertical comic/strip :/
