Callis has a colosal inferiority complex and hides behind rules and regulations using them as a shield to avoid getting discriminated. He has a tendency to keep a profesional distance even with those who accept his mixed lineage.

Novus has a serious problem with respecting authority and can't keep his mouth shut. He will punch over his weight "social" class and most often than not he will be shut down without being able to actually do something, dismissed for not being nobility.

For my main dude; smoking, and drinking too much. It stems from loneliness, and loss; beyond that, I can't say too much, because spoilers.

Agony: Hitting Thesis in the back of the head. She does it almost compulsively. She treats people how she wants to in a hedonistic kind of way. Rude for the fun of it.

Thesis: He has absolutely no sense of what he should or should not say to people. He doesn't think about like "maybe this person doesn't want to hear this right now" it comes from his profession.

Duenna: She picks at her doll that she has. She loves the doll, but she also picks at the strings. She just has a need to do that to the things she loves.

Motif: Tends to take sides in arguments that don't concern or involve him. He just loves the attention.

My MC's name is Alist Glassheart but she had a different name in her past life. Her bad habit is slouching.

"Never in Alist's life did she experienced such [etiquette] class especially when she once worked at a construction site with her back bent from carrying her own hollow blocks. And once she left that brutal job, her posture remained at a slouching stance even while reading her web novels. Although she did a lot of parkour back in her days as a street rat like running and jumping on the rooves just get to the job site early, such body stretch didn't even help as that activity sucked out all her stamina and kept her hunching. At that time, it didn't matter whether she crawled on her four limbs just to get to work as fast as she could."

Shyba: He is much too hard on himself and is also too hesitant to act on what he wants, which creates a lot of problems. He also has a difficult time with personal boundaries due to this. Example: not being able to say 'no' when asked to do something he either doesn't want to do or cannot accomplish, but will try anyway because he has people pleasing tendencies. These all originated from years of abuse, so it's not his fault.

Kiara: She is forgetful due to complications from ADHD, so also not her fault. But she also has a hard time letting things go, so it eats at her and she has a hard time moving on from things and forgiving both others and herself (but this can also be attributed to her ADHD and the 'rejection sensitivity dysphoria' she has). She is also quite stubborn, which can be both good and bad at times.

Kyo: Makes noise/fidgeting, says things without thinking, refuses to do things not of interest, picks fights
Sora: Pushes others away, snaps when agitated/bothered, poor sleeping habits, keeps secrets, tunnel vision
Aoife: Puts others before herself, uses a bad attitude as a defense mechanism, eats unhealthy
Elizabeth: Shuts down under pressure or when facing difficulties, very loud, oblivious

Julian often forgets his magic is all emotion-based and is supposed to be a secret. He also tends to shrink in on himself when he feels overwhelmed, opting not to talk and to hide as often as he's able. He'd rather get completely absorbed into daydreams or books than talk to anyone.

Kovreil has a habit of setting things on fire with magic when he gets mad. He has some trouble controlling his emotions and he's always had powerful magic, so sometimes they overflow together. He also tends to get into fights or make himself panic when he gets too emotionally invested in things.

I love threads like this! It's just character study, and I love that.

Jade: She's a hoarder, through and through. She'll grab random garbage she finds on the street and toss it into a pile. Stuff like random furniture, bike wheels, ;clothes, you name it. 90% of all of it will never see any practical use.
This stems from when she was living on her own, roaming the countryside. She never really knew what she needed, so she's just kind of carry around... everything she could, even if vaguely. This has only been exacerbated now that she's got a truck to live in.

Jaime: He's had a long standing habit of putting himself down in new situations. Even if it's things he's done before, if it's in a social situation, he'll always try and sit out and pretend like he doesn't care.
This started, in story, a good five-odd years ago. He went fishing with his dad on the gulf, but would always be afraid to interact with anybody there for fear of looking ignorant.

I have four MCs so just going to answer for two:
Tam suffers from low moods, and self-deprication plus occasionally self-destructive mood, mostly stemming from his very very terrible childhood. Matias, meanwhile, is a tad overconfidence (a paladin who has themselves as their patreon does tend to cause this), mostly from very rarely having come across a foe who can best them.

As much as I want to just focus on 1 character, I'm doing 3, the 3 characters introduced during the Prologues of the story. One of them is currently the focus of the story at the moment.

Omari Osei, the Scarlet Spellcaster, has a bad habit of gambling. By bad habit, I mean it's his preferred style of games. Specifically cards. Beyond that, he is not above cheating when possible. He hails from the Southern U.S.

Long Xiaolian, the Azure Dragon, is very prideful. Especially in regards to their family and their skillset. Despite their normal state of being cool and calm like a riverbed, if their pride is at stake, they become like a raging storm. They hail from a hermit clan in the middle of China

Eileen Edwards, the Apricot Thunder, is reckless beyond compare. A daredevil who can only find the purest of excitement from death-defying stunts. This thrill-seeking sensation puts her in nothing but trouble. All for the sake of her own ambitions. She hails from Australia.

Eli: Has a bad habit of speaking before thinking, and lets his emotions get the best of him. Mostly anger. Which isn't ideal, considering he is super snarky and ends up coming across like a jerk sometimes.

Matthew: His bad habit apart from drinking way too much coffee is probably doing what he thinks is best before consulting the people it affects. He always has the best intentions, but he's been alone for a while, so he doesn't always think to stop and communicate properly.
