Well, I did it. Finished editing possibly the worst screenplay I have ever read. I'm angry with myself for taking the project on, because this was pretty much like putting lipstick on a pig. In the end, she wouldn't let me change any of the story or anything.
I really can't wait to see her face when/if a movie producer decides to take it on and then tells her, "Oh right, we're going to change this, this and that." (which is basically what I thought she should do)
Everyone should know that once you write a screenplay and sell it over to someone in the business, it ceases to be yours. Unless you're really lucky and get to direct. But it's never going to be your story again.
