The designs are cool, but it’s hard to critique them when we don’t know who they are or what their role in the story is. You can present the coolest outfit for a character, but if it doesn’t suit them in their role or personality, then the design doesn’t really work.
From purely a visual standpoint, they’re interesting to look at, but from a practical standpoint, they’re probably going to be quite tedious to draw over and over and over again if they’re characters that might frequent your story or comic.
They all have pretty similar color palettes, which makes them all kind of blend together. It’s okay to stick to a theme or aesthetic, but you can still do that while also giving your characters variety in color. Not sure if you purposely gave them all similar color palettes or not, so take that with a grain of salt if it plays a purpose in your story.
The idea of them being made of glass is pretty cool! I think you did a decent job at portraying their “purpose” through their design, like the Guard of sight, that’s probably the one that caught my eye the quickest (pun intended) because of the contrast with the giant eyeball as a head.
Some aspects of the designs are a bit confusing, like i’m not really sure what the yellow fuzzy parts over the first girls chest and skirt are supposed to be or how they work.
If I were to rate them, it would probably be this-
1st girl- 6/10 - cool design but there’s a lot going on and it’s very visually distracting. I like her hair and staff the most
Guard of smell - 7/10 really cool concept with the candle in the chest, probably the coolest part of the design imo, the big noses are cool too but they make me laugh lol
guard of taste - 5/10 probably your weakest design up there in terms of interest, not really sure what’s going on with the bowl in his leg either. But I love the giant spoon on his back and the pattern you’ve got going on the front of his outfit
guard of sight - 7.5/10 probably one of the stronger designs, the eyeball head with little eyeballs around it is super cool, I also like the trench coat type thing going on,
guard of gearing - 6/10 a cool concept but i don’t think he was executed the best. the hat is cool with the glass hanging down from it and i like the bandages around him, it’s a cool thing that none of the other characters have!
I think you have a really strong foundation, but it’s hard to know what areas need improvement outside of just like “hey, they look nice” or not since we don’t have any of the necessary information to make that decision. They’re interesting visually, but not necessarily appealing in some senses, but I don’t think they’d be considered bad by any means, or unwelcomed if they were kept unchanged!
