Guard of sight (8/10)
So this one is probably my favourite design. I like the design cuz it's very simple, even the colour palette is nice. Im weak for character that have a long piece of clothing like scarf

Guard of hearing (7/10)
Design wise, it looks good but there's something about her makes me feel like something isnt enough. I guess it's just my preferences but it's feels basic. I would love to see another types of musical note on her design such as Breve

Guard of taste (4/10)
I don't like her design at all, personally. I don't understand why grapes? Tbh for me, those two colours doesn't match well since its too bright. If you darken it a lil bit, it would work. She fall flat for me cuz of the sweater? At the front. It doesn't give me the same vibe as others

Guardian of smell (7.5/10)
The design is great since Gaia looks like one of those tarot cards symbol(?). Idk what to say about this one that much but I like it.

I'm not sure how to rate these because I don't know what they're for. Are they for a comic? What's the intended audience? Are they meant to be main characters or are they more like powerful entities the main characters might interact with?

I like them! It's like Magical Girl meets Power Rangers. Plus, I love the soft colours. They're bright without being shocking.

I agree with almost everything you say.
I'd also like to add that, in my opinion of course, you may have your reasons for it, you should more saturation on specific parts of the characters to focus on these.
this is only for Isa and Anlala, both characters palette seem to pastel and with low saturation, making the eyeball head a darker or stronger blue could help peopl to focus on that. now anlala, again agreeing with @choilyriel but also adding the palette problem.
honestly I think you should change your focus from the cutlery, maybe add many different kinds of food, like when I think of what food makes me feel, I imagine remy from ratatouille when eating the cheese and strawberry

I think they look fine if they are intended for a visual novel. But for a comic, I am concerned that they may be difficult to recreate in a comic. Gaia especially, what would they look like from other angles?

Is there a reason Anlala has Mason on their shirt? With the abstract designs, the first thing I thought of was Freemason and I don’t know if you necessarily want that association.

These are all very cool! This is something I struggle with as well, but you might want to try adding different details to make the metal more dimensional

Guard of Sight, I had big help on. Its thanks to god he came out good. His scarf goes on into infinity, but you can't see it or touch it after it fades.

I'll try to fix the guard of hearing's design. I thought it needed more different music notes, too.

The guard of taste is not wearing a sweater, but has a body part like a mason jar. I thought I made her better than the older one, but I should've put food in the mason jar, but a part of me was having trouble. I decided for her that her weapons are glass utencils and that she can create infinite food out of thin air inside and outside herself.

I'm glad you like Gaia. Before she was more plain because I didn't add something to her bottom part by the feet at the end.

I'll either redesign the one for taste or change Taste's colors and fix up the one for hearing. Is it okay for me to send you a message on here once they're done?

That's cool backstory, but I wanted to know if they're characters in a comic, and if they are, what they do in the story. Like, who's the protagonist? Who's a villain or a friend or a rival? What role do these characters play in the story?

If they're not for a story or a comic or anything, they don't need rating. I think a character design should only ever be rated or graded based on how well that design serves the purpose of working well in the medium it was created for and getting across what that character's personality or role might be. If they're for a comic and they're major characters, they might be a little too detailed, but if they were just guardian type characters who guide heroes, the designs could work. If they were for a game, the designs being complex wouldn't be so big an issue even if they were main characters, because you wouldn't need to draw them so many times to make game assets as to make comic panels. So you see... the context you make the characters for impacts how suitable a character design is.
