Digital Artists- Do you ever have trouble with colors looking different on different devices

It's a little hard to explain because I can't post screenshots and expect them to show what I mean, but I recently posted an episode and checked out how it looked on my phone. I'd kind of noticed the issue a little bit before, but it was really obvious in this panel.

On my computer, the blue color here is an electric teal color, but on my phone it's more of a darker turquoise-blue. Does anyone else have this issue? How do you make sure that your colors remain consistent across different devices?

Yes, this is completely normal. I can't remember the exact details, so forgive me if I get this wrong. I am sure someone else will correct me, but each device can have a different color characteristic, it's just the way they were setup I believe. A computer has a different spectrum of RBG and CMY that they work on and so do printers and phones, etc. To make all your computer monitors run a more expanded color spectrum, you'd have to buy a device to do that. I believe there's one such device called the color munki that does that. The color munki makes each monitor you use it on to work on the same color spectrum, and not only that, it expands the default color spectrum of your monitors and your printer too, so what you see on your monitor will print out the same color on paper, that's always the trouble I see. Also, humans are very interesting though, it could also be that your own eyes are seeing the color slightly different as well. All of us do not see the exact same spectrum of color either xD

Yep! Different devices just have different color gamuts. The most I do is when I post it on my insta, since I do that on my phone, I try to edit it and adjust the colors to what I meant for them to be. For me it is usually just hues that change a bit. So I just adjust the saturation and whatnot till it looks more accurate to what was on my computer! But don't worry too much about it. As long as it doesn't make the drawing too dark on another screen, to the point where you can't see certain details, it probably isn't a big deal because others won't know the difference much.

that is actually normal to have devises displaying different colors. the reason for why this is, it because a computer (or any electric devices) produces colors via RBG (red, green, blue). The colors are actually the lights the light up your screen and when lit at different strengths makes a different color. when programming the colors are registered between 0-225. So white would be R225 B225 G255 and black would be r0 b0 g0. you can look at this link to see how the codes change

there are also hex codes to determine colors. a hex code for black would be #000000 and white would be #FFFFFF Some programing languages use RBG (which is the most common i think) and hex colors.

Yeah you just have to make and save different versions. So for some places I'll tweak the settings with an adjustment layer before posting.
