Do novel/comic get views after completion?

Do the novel/comic get views after completion of it, like the numbers stop at that point ?
Should you make your story in parts/section or continue it in one long series ?

I have a completed comic on Webtoon.
The first month, I still got likes and subs (not much, though). After that, it's pretty much dead.
But! I used to have an ongoing comic and decided to stop in the middle (school stuff). I basically forgot to delete it for almost a year. When I checked it back, I noticed I had gained good amount of subscribers. There are recent comments hoping I'll get back someday too. Unfortunately, I couldn't continue the story and decided to delete it. Kinda sad tbh.

It depends? I saw even some novels/comics getting featured after they were completed. But yeah, if you don't delete it, there are chances you could still get subs/views. I rebooted my comic and for a while the old version was still available on the sites and even generated some adrev.
So if it's a one story in a few books, I would continue it as one series.

It depends on how much you promote it. There's always a chance people will stumble onto it organically but for the most part, if you aren't putting the legwork into marketing it. No one will read it.

Based on what is said above and what I've seen, there are some things that can increase your viewcount on completed works:

1) adding bonus content (preferably to the work itself so subs have a reason to stick around after completion)
2) publishing new stories on the same account which will draw people to your older work (preferably with only a small gap between releases)
3) promoting on social media, other platforms, tapas events, etc.

As for your second question, I;ve seen both done on tapas, but because subs or likes dont drop of if you keep the story in one long series it tends to be more favourable to keep every part of your story in one long series (even if it may scare away some viewers if its really long.) Some people use different 'volumes' to demarcate different parts of the series.

I feel like I got more views and subs after I finished uploading. Maybe part that sometimes your work can be buried in the Fresh page. Some people might also be seeking out things to binge read.

That's kinda what I'd think, anyway. I said elsewhere about one of my own stories, "Completed series. No subscriptions necessary. Binge it or drop it like a rotting potato." How's that for advertising copy?
