Not being a coder I can never make these ideas come to life myself. (Hoping my six year old brother becomes a game developer one day ) But I thought it would be fun to share them. If you have any game ideas yourself feel free to share them too.

Game idea one: Gremlin Heist 2
Don’t ask where the first one is. Me and my brother randomly came up with this. The game is simple, you are a gremlin robbing banks. You can acquire different kinds of gremlins with different abilities. The goal is to make it out with the money and not get caught. There are lots of other little details I’ve thought up about it, but that’s basically it.

Game idea two: Fiends and Finances
Plot: you get sent to hell for making bad financial decisions, and the only way to get to heaven is to make enough money to prove you’ve learned how to manage money and buy your way into heaven.
The game would actually teach you valuable financial lessons, but have fun characters with interesting dynamics. There would be an interesting world to explore, cool things to buy, and even a housing market (it’s not any better than our current one)
I actually drew some characters a long time ago that would be in the game.

Absolutely, I am learning how to make games and things so that I can make these ideas a reality, one game idea I had was about some people investigation a mysterious death in the early 1900s, it was supposed to be a dead plate type game but with ad many endings as undertale but I never had anything to program it on. I can show you some art I did of the person their investigating

Cool  glad to hear you’re trying to learn how to code. Maybe someday I’ll take a coding class. I feel more confident about trying it after learning some :sparkles:spreadsheet magic:sparkles: as I like to call it.

That would be cool, I feel like you would make some fun games. Coding can get a bit confusing tho

I do a lot of brainstorming of what kind of games I want to make. I do sketches and concept art but it never really gets beyond that.

I sort of want to make a raising simulator but I guess I am still trying to think of a good way to approach that. Like motivating players to explore and such.

Most of my programming background was in Flash unfortunately. But I was able to play around a bit in Renpy with Python. I also find Twine to be an interesting little program and maybe something I look more into.
