I recently got an old external hard drive from my brother that had literally thousands of images I once thought lost forever. It's been fun going through them. Especially the webcomics that never got far. Lots of good ideas to recycle in them.
But of the few webcomics I did fully complete, they usually end like this;

The protagonist ALWAYS deals with the story's overriding conflict (man vs nature/ man vs man/ etc) by simply walking away from it because they gain the wisdom see it as the empty thing it is.
If you believe that a correct ending to a conflict is to snap Thanos out of existence with the Infinity Gauntlet, that sort of ending is anticlimactic.
As a creator? Fuck your desire for a kamehameha battle.
