The short answer is no, I do not.
The longer answer is that I really don't feel like I'd be getting anything out of it. My mom would probably be interested in reading them, because I made them and she supports me (she did look at a comic I did back when I was in high school), but I don't think she'd really go into it in depth because I don't think she feels that comics can be a serious medium that can tell a story just like a book or a movie... I just realised while typing that this isn't true, and that she seemed interested in my Naruto and Locke&Key books when I bought them, but I don't think comics are her thing. Plus, she'd just tell me "that's nice" or something like that, and that, as we all know, is advice you can take to the bank.
My dad seems to operate under the belief that fiction in itself walks a very thin line, and than any piece of fiction that doesn't adhere strictly to real life is a complete waste of time. He scoffs at Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, and anything of the sort: just the sight of something computer generated or fantastical on screen is enough to elicit a "turn off that crap." And he's really dismissive of fantasy stories because he just considers them childish by default. He also has some really backwards and hateful things to say about anything even remotely related to LGBT+ topics. One of my comics is a biology inspired sci-fi story, the other is about two gay men. So, no, he doesn't read my stuff, nor would I ever consider showing it to him.
Fortunately, I have a few friends that enjoy comics, or aren't put off by them at the very least, and they have no problem giving their honest opinion and telling me what they liked and what they didn't like. So yay for them!
