For my public social medias, I try to stay out of politics, reason being political stuff is everywhere and it's stressful and depressing. It's nice to have a place that just doesn't have that. Not to mention, even though I'm definitely more liberal-leaning, liberal "friends" in the past have not been so kind when I don't agree with some liberal talking points. So I keep that stuff on my personal Facebook to talk about where I have a few friends who still follow me and that one relative who thinks he's saying something really cool and cunning but is really just an idiot and I ignore him.
For my comic itself, well, my main comic is about a war so naturally there are some politics involved, but it doesn't go too deep into them. There is more later on in the story I feel. It's so detached from our own reality though, with taking place in the future and having an entire race of aliens, that I don't feel like it really gets much into really relevant politics. There are some, for sure, but I can't really get into it because there would be spoilers.
I feel like if I have something I really want to say, I will say it in my comic. But that isn't usually my focus for my comics so not much is usually blatantly said.
