Do you work alone on your webcomic?

I work alone, and I like it that way. I can collaborate just fine, but I'm used to doing it with someone in charge, on a project that doesn't have any personal significance to me.

Urgh, yeah. Occasionally I make my fiance color a page if I'm really behind, but other than that it's just me. I wish I could work on it more, but I also have a 9-5 job

Impressive! Though I am a beginner. I recently put out an anouncement in my comic telling the experience I had with uploading an episode every day! It's really hard!!! For now I lowered the upload frequency to every 3 days.

Nope!

My husband is my writing partner, but I do everything else.

The initial story and characters were my idea and he wanted to help me develop it. It wouldn't be where it is if it wasn't for him!
With that, we have a general outline and he takes a stab at writing the pages and we go back and with edits.
This is our first comic.

I've had teamwork experiences that didn't go quite as well either. Often they are people who expect others to think the same way and only their own way. Last time I over-confidently ask unknown people to be teammates...Better to first know eachother better before teamwork becomes an idea.

I do, I write and illustrate on all my comics alone, on top of school. it's not hard, but it's time consuming, though I do prefer to be alone when working because I can know it's all me, so I can't blame others for my horrible excuse for talent!

I myself... yeah, allone. But it's kinda a hobby to me. I wish to develope myself creatively and the recent new comic I started is my learning device. Not that I want people to read my worst ofcourse. I'm pretty good at writing the story. The hard part comes when I start drawing the panels.I hope to progressivly deliver better quality so that future readers can really enjoy the story.

Yeah I'm running this thing solo here. It's not all that bad, I can draw really fast so I can get a lot done if I was inspired enough to do so.

I do not. I have a friend of mine that helps me write the comic! Takes a huge load off my shoulders let me tell you.

Also ti keeps me interested in the comic since I have someone to geek out about it with.

I do everything by myself as well. With me being in high school I would find it hard to coordinate my schedule with other people to write a comic anyways

I think that most people on this site are running their comics by themselves. I know I am. What flabbergasts me is how some people who work on theirs alone have time to update twice a week or more. I can barely churn out one page each week because there is so much that goes into producing my comic on my own.

im making my comic all by myself
about the only thing i involve other people in is characters
ive been creating characters n their stories with friends & family for YEARS
but im doing all the artwork myself
even for cameos :x

I feel this way too. I've learned and improved so much in my art making this comic and its gratifying knowing that the result is all coming from me. Even when there are days I wish I had little minions doing my flatting for me.

I did know the person, they were a long time friend I knew IRL, not just on the internet. The problem was that once college stated... she started being a bit verbally and emotionally abusive towards me. I broke it off with her then about a year later, tried to patch our friendship. It started out OK but then she went back to being abusive and I cut off all ties with her.

And yap, color, design, text, writing. I do get a lot of critique from kind hearted souls which helps out loads! Comic would not be the same without them. ;u;

Haha, I do some freelance projects, and take commissions. Unfortunately it's nowhere near enough to sustain myself entirely but I'm lucky to have a family and husband that don't mind supporting me.
