learning language of the moonrunes right now, it's a slow process. I know all of N5 kanji and about half of N4 but as for grammar, lol, don't ask me about that.

fun thing I learned about moonrunes: if you dont know the onyomi, guess せい or こう and it's probably right

My mother's side of the family came from Panama, Spanish is my second language after English. I know enough Japanese to hold conversations and my boyfriend is currently teaching me Korean.

I'm a native speaker of Swedish. English is my second language, and I speak it quite fluently, and Duolingo tells me I know 56% French.

I also studied German in school, and if you hand me a German text, I will still be able to make at least some sense of it, even though my knowledge has atrophied a bit from lack of use.

Also, being Swedish, I can understand some of the dialects of Norwegian that are most similar to Swedish. It basically sounds like Swedish with a funny accent and a few changed words. The more dissimilar accents are pretty incomprehensible to me, though. Same with Danish.

I speak Japanese. I wouldn't say I'm fluent, especially when it comes to speaking, but I'm good enough to translate and proofread Japanese to English for a living. I also used to be able to speak a little Spanish and French, but I haven't studied either in a long time at this point.

Well, English is a foreign language to me, so yeah I speak at least one xD (ok sorry I know that joke has already been said...).
Anyway I'm french so that's my first language, I also learn German at school but I can only remember how to order a beer (which is very useful !), I also learned a bit of Japanese but not enough to be able to have a real conversation.

As a Slovak-Hunarian i speak both fluently. Plust english fluently. Also I speak Czeck and since I have a polish girlfriend I'm starting to learn that too XD

Yeaah as others have said, English is my foreign language.
I'm a native Russian speaker, but I also speak some Latvian since I'm from there. I used to study French and a little bit of German, but that went nowhere Hell, I'm slowly forgetting Russian after living in the UK for years.

I'm Latvian so that's my first language. We have lots of Russian around us here and I watched tons of Russian-dubbed movies as a kid so I have a pretty okay understanding of it. I'm also surprised when I can actually figure out how to spell things. Then, of course, English. I had German in school but I know very little of it. Then French in high-school but I hated the teacher haha~ Not very fond of French. Also know it even less than German. Lastly, having watched animé for like almost 10 years I can understand the simplest Japanese phrases. I've been meaning to start self-studying it.

Italian is my native language. I speak English quite well, then I studied German and French in high school but I didn't keep practising them since i finished hs.

Yay, I know a foreign language! haha

English is my 1st language, I can stumble my way through most Spanish conversations, I probably should be better at Mandarin Chinese than I am (I speak like a 3-year-old, but hey, at least my accent isn't terrible), and I am currently trying to learn Japanese (Tae Kim and Jisho have been my best friends).

I actually really love learning languages! This is something that I've just recently started to revisit, since making comics takes up most of my free time. Still, by downloading phone apps, I've found ways to maximize my idle time waiting for things ^U^

I'm currently trying to learn French and Russian. I spent several years trying to teach myself Russian through books and wikipedia and internet guides to the language, but I haven't gotten very far. I can fluently read the Cyrillic alphabet and correctly pronounce most words. I'm using an app called "Duolingo" to try to learn French. According to the app, I'm "40% fluent" but I don't know what that really means.

I took 4 years of Latin in high school, but I don't remember too much about it any more. It did give me a big advantage to understanding French and Spanish basics though.

My native language is Polish. I also speak English- I'm quite fluent in it, though I still make mistakes ( : I know some German- I understand a lot (if not most of) when I'm reading or listening to people talking in German (...or songs' lyrics), but it's really hard for me to write/say a sentence myself. I also know some basics of Italian- some simple phrases and words (for example, I can introduce myself and order a beer : P I'd probably able to buy some food and ask for directions as well).
+ some random words or phrases in Japanese and Hungarian, though I highly doubt I'd be able to communicate in those languages : D

Oh yes, I forgot to say it, I also learn latin in middle school, but I don't remember much, it was a pretty boring subject for me, except when we read stuff about mythology, I used to love that.
