Used to watch this show when I was a kid, I don't think it's as bad as some people make it out to be if you're just looking for mindless fun.

I think my favourite characters were Lucy, Gildarts, Erza and Jellal among others.

Did you ever watch Rave Master? It's Hiro Mashima's previous work before Fairy Tail, and it's pretty fun

I liked it at first but the whole friendship power up stuff really messed up the fights for me, especially when it came with Erza n Natsu
But other than that its a fun series, only thing other than that i didnt like was the excess fan service, especially for Erza since she's a more serious character.
My favorite character is Gajeel, close second is Laxus and 3rd is Juvia

used to be a fan, but I kinda ... idk. I was disappointed that most plot threads with potential never went anywhere

I really liked most of the characters too, and they had so much unused potental lskfjdlks

I know there's a manga about the 100 year quest that the main gang went on

and there's the new manga Eden Zero that kinda recycles the characters like Erza, and I still don't know if that has plot relevance or if it's just meant as an easter egg lol

but I can't really get into it anymore.. it's a bit too..... formulaic?

I'm a pretty big Fairy Tail fan

Let's see, my favorite characters..

Probably Gray, Juvia and Erza!

Lucy would be up there, but she's just done dirty so many times throughout the series :sob: I really dig the summoning power and she does have some cool fights too, though!

Used to watch and read it. I don't remember when did I start skip watching/reading it until stopping altogether. Probably when the fanservice became too much for me.

Fairytail has some of the most entertaining and well-rounded characters in any anime I've seen. It's plot is pretty basic, but the character development is really solid.

The characters aren't really anything new or special, but the way that they interact with each other is just so fun.

My number 1 has to be "Jubia".

Considering the quality of the stuff that hits the mainstream, it's a majorly under-appreciated and underrated series.
