Does WEBTOON remove views from canvas series?

I know this is a Tapas forum, but I had an issue with the views being removed on my webcomic Tanglewood on WEBTOON. Last night I had 188 views (I have the screenshot) and then today it dropped to 101. I also noticed that the rating dropped (although perhaps someone one starred it). Does anyone have any idea as to why the views seem to have been removed?

So this was something that happend to a lot of ppl inlcuding myself, as seen on this reddit thread. Tons of views but no subs likes etc. All the views I got, has also been removed like yours. Unsure if webtoon has released a statement about it, but as others guessed, it might been a bot attack of some sort.

Yeah I lost more than 100 views out of nowhere

So what happed is that Webtoon had a glitch when changing their url from /challenges to /canvas, it seemed to have messed with people’s views and added about 100 per episode people had. Webtoon has since been trying to fix this glitch and thus removing the extra views from people’s comics.
