This is Ira Svartjord, prince of Arkos.

Age: 19 at the beginning of the story but I'm planning for him to be almost 30 by the end of it.
Sex: Male

Nickname: The Obsidian Prince
Place of residence: The Kingdom of Arkos
Powers/Weapon: He can generate obsidian from nothing, from small spikes to massive walls. He also has a very cool sword made of black metal.

Personality: As a prince, he had a very proper education growing up. As a result, he's well-spoken and generally polite. He's naturally a kind and helpful young man. He's very well-versed in several academic subjects and has a very deep scholarly interest in geology. That being said, he's idealistic and impulsive, which gets him into trouble. He can sometimes come off as a little naive. He's hard-working and obsessed with proving himself to everyone around him. He's desperate to be useful to his homeland, and resents the lack of freedom his country now faces under the occupation of the Veturian Empire. He values integrity and honesty in people. Ira, like all other people in the story, has a divine mandate from their patron god to not perform a certain behavior or they will invoke a curse that could kill them. His is that he can never surrender, which renders any fight he takes part in incredibly dangerous for him.

About them: Born as the second prince to the royal family of Arkos, he spent his childhood in the capital of the kingdom, which is a massive city built around and in the second highest mountain peak in the territory (The highest mountain is considered sacred and people can't live there). When he was about 9 or 10, the neighboring nation of Veturia invaded and conquered Arkos, so Ira and his brother fled the capital and he's been living on the roads with a royal knight bodyguard named Marcus. Ira and Marcus made a living as stone merchants, gathering and selling rocks and minerals from town to town. About a year prior to the story beginning, Ira and Marcus made an extended stay in the small town of Riverholm, where they continued their trade by supplying the local blacksmith. When Ira gets a letter from his brother calling him to prepare for a large rebellion, and is seemingly blessed by the patron god of Arkos, Akor, he takes the opportunity to start making a difference. And he'll do whatever it takes to drive out the people he sees as invaders to his beloved homeland.

Hates: swimming in unknown bodies of water, having to trust/ put trust into people immediately, not having Anastasia in safety, and breaking the rules.

Psychological state: It varies as the story continues on. It clear that while she hides her cracks, she manages to keep up a calm state. She is naturally very wary of most things, and she suffers with occasional flashbacks from her past life that she doesn't even know is true. She has to put on a strong front and ignore the terrors of her past that are coming to haunt her

Hope/Fears: 1.) overcome her past so that it doesn't impact Anastasia. 2.)Leaving Anastasia in dangers way and having her harmed. 3.) Wants to eventually move past her former life and be her own person

_One night, after hearing a strange 'Hum' sound broadcast across their town, Evan and his little brother Owen experience changes within themselves. Both brothers display unusual abilities and become asymptomatic carriers of a virus. Those infected by the brothers' virus, instantly mutate into horrid monsters! The brothers unwillingly start an outbreak! _
Evan, Owen are dubbed 'Sick Boys' by authorities.
Owen dreams of reuniting with his parents and has a hard time accepting that he's become a threat to humanity. Evan on the other hand is fascinated by the situation, having grown tired of a mundane life. Evan is eager to explore the limits of his powers, slay waves of infected, duel other 'Sick Boys' and willing to put his life on the line to protect hapless survivors (especially his loved ones).
Evan and Owen realize how much they've drifted apart over the years and the journey ahead revives their close kinship!

Grew tired of living with Doland, his Uncle/Step-Father. They first fell out of terms when Evan dropped out of Track & Field to pursue music. Doland opposes Evan's life-choices and his mom remains silent when they argue. Despite the horrid conditions after the strange 'Hum', Evan feels relieved to be out of the home setting, no Doland, no bills to pay and no longer limited to his town's very-traditional views.

Big brother Mode- His little brother is his full responsibility as they are stranded from their parents. He isn't usually the most responsible in your usual setting but knowing Owen's life is at risk with monsters prowling, he would do what he can to ensure Owen's safety. He also sees it as an opportunity to encourage Owen to 'toughen up' and 'think for himself' as he had a more sheltered life.

Romantic feels for Xun, a night-club manager and ex-assassin who started training him in combat and parkour almost a year ago (Evan wanted a fling but began to realize he truly has feelings for him), Xun's text message on the night of the Hum states he remained in town and Evan is driven to re-connect with him. Deep down Evan is concerned for the well-being of his loved ones during the outbreak and finds himself driven to slay the infected. Unlike humans, he is immune to infection from the monsters and can slay them.

Somewhat responsible for the mass infection spread, he puked when he heard the 'strange Hum'. From his puke evolved a grotesque monster dubbed by authorities as "Ozmer". Ozmer grew to a large size destroying the town and infecting humans in tis path. While Owen blames himself and Evan for the infection spread, Evan doesn't share his view entirely. To him, the virus and Ozmer move beyond their control and was never the brothers' intention. As the originator of Ozmer however, he sees it as his duty to destroy it. Tanks and Fighter Jets failed and he knows his powers have worked against other infected monstrosities along the way - so he may have a chance!
While a pet owner would have an emotional connection with a pet being put down for killing a human, Evan had no emotional connection to Ozmer nor the Virus.

Go with the flow- he doesn't think far into the future and prefers to act in the moment (goes back to his bad habit of jumping head 1st)

Easily let go - Based on his views on the virus and his go with the flow attitude, he's also accepted that those who mutated from infection are no longer the people they were.

Optimism- because of his past success as an athlete , risk taker & popular kid, he feels certain about taking similar risk in the face of death, however he is in for a surprise!

Hope/Fears: His greatest fear is showing fear and looking vulnerable so he often hides it behind a cheesy joke and a playful grin.
While he tries to mask it for a tough look, he is concerned for loved ones being infected/killed by him or his enemies and it drives his hope to keep them safe and also take caution ( to avoid accidentally infecting them). Fears Owen getting killed.
He would appreciate if Doland (his step-father/uncle) would change his outlook the next time they meet in future.

Ambitions/Goals: Season 1: To keep Owen safe, Find a way to reconnect with Xun, Slay the Infected, Find and kill the 'large puke creature' Ozmer.
_While Owen and Xun hope for a cure to their condition, it's not something he cares for as he enjoys the thrill and adventure _

They hope to reunite with their parents but the further they go, it seems unlikely. On the plus side their condition grants them other bizarre abilities and a chance of survival against all odds. Things take a turn for the worse when a sinister few spin the situation into a grisly game!

Summary: Eory is a fairy prince locked in a tower. However, unlike classic fairy tales of princesses locked in towers, the reasons for him being locked up may be justified. Eory comes from a long line of the corrupt Arrozan Royal Family; a family known to be evil at its very core, with every member being the cause of some great tragedy. Eory is the last of the Arrozan line; the remaining members of the Arrozan Royal Family were beheaded by the human, Laurence, who then seized the throne for himself, as the kingdom originally belonged to humans. Eory was rescued at the age of six from the beheading by a waif named Kori, whose occupation is to reform criminals. Kori offered to reform Eory, and Laurence agreed on the grounds that she lock him away to ensure he could not cause society any further harm. Personality: Naturally reserved and says what he means.Has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and respects any who can admit their ignorance and seek to work on it no matter the topic. Values efficiency and this makes him seem glib and hard to work with. Observant and a fan of the pregnant pause. Thoughtful and takes his promises and responsibilities seriously.

About him: Kaelen is driven and focused on his goals of becoming a ranked Mage Master and would like to be above social trappings, but acknowledges they serve a purpose and that it's ok to indulge sometimes, just make expectations clear and stick to them.
