Yes, I was obsessing over this for awhile, to be honest. I will probably need to go back and fix earlier pages depending on how important I feel like the missing details are.

It's relieving to hear other people do this too! D':

It's uber frustrating when it's something important, too. I've forgotten to place items in certain areas so when I go back to have the characters move them, AND THEY AREN'T THERE, it's just... aa, the work around would be even more time-consuming than just going back to draw and paint a backpack or a pen or a mobile on a desk. x

Yep. I've forgotten smaller details - like tattoos, and patterns on people's clothing, and minor background details - and also really big and important stuff.

Like how I occasionally draw Masahiro picking stuff up with his left hand.

Masahiro doesn't have a left hand. ^_^;

Yepp, a lot of times. It mostly happens when I try to rush a page because I want to get it done quick. Like backgroundstuff, whole parts of clothing, jewelery, sometimes even eyebrows. Eventually I have to put more time into it to fix things... But I'll never learn.

Definitely ! yet, I don't know if i'll ever have the time to fix them!

Lol agreed!

I often nearly forget drawing my own glasses... XD
Gladly so far I always added them in time. At least I hope so.

uhg constantly! I need to make a check-list. At first you think 'there's no way I'd forget these details about how my character' but then when youre thinking about so many details, you begin to overlook really defining details and feeling like an absolute turnip for doing it :/

I'm really glad so many other people do it too, I was worried I was just bad at life!

Yes, all the time! I find consolation in that professional artists have this happen to them now and again as well. ^_^

on my current scene my main character's meant to be wearing a satchel and every other panel it disappears OTL

Usually when I make a mistake in my comic and I miss a detail, I actually wait till later to fix it, or I do it on the spot when someone points it out.

Even when you're one of those people that like to double check everything, sometimes it just misses the eye and OOPS YA FRIGGED UP.

I constantly do that and to be honest I think it's just, for some of us, we have so much fun drawing our stuff we tend to miss little details due to our excitement.

At least, thats what it feels like to me |D;;

My comic is called rainy day and it's always raining in the comic and I forget to draw the rain Every Single Time

ughhh so much. especially when its a fairly repetitive thing - like, youre drawing a character for the fifth time in that outfit? so you forget all sorts of details. its so annoying

typically i go back and fix it, but once its posted then thats that, unless its Major. id change it for print versions after that, but thats it

Yeah, so some times I go back and look at some of the references I have Just too be sure I have everything drawn correctly.

Alllllllllll the time. I also forget to shade things a lot. Sometimes the "forgetting" to draw things is due to ignorance, like I drew a hackamore bridle before actually googling what one looked like :V Do your research, kids!

He hasn't lost it yet, but I suspect this is gonna happen once one of my characters loses a hand. You'd think it'd an easy thing to keep track of. XD

Most of the times I do cause the fact I usually paint all on one layer and if I were to paint over a sketch of a simple thing then I'll forget it. Oops. But usually it's minor things like freckles, accessories and such as well as trying to proof scan it so many times for mistakes.

Yes! I drew an oven in the background of one of my scenes... Forgot to colour it.. Drew some shoes, forgot I drew shoes and forgot to shade them properly... I have a character with moles on her face, I keep forgetting to draw them.. Or I forget to shade things here and there. -sigh-

Yes, yes all the goddam time. I upload the damn thing and go "oh shit" and edit it in and reupload it. Sometimes I screw up and edit one thing in the scene and forget something else.

This isn't regarding drawings but once I made a deliberate spelling error to make it seem like a character doesn't know how to pronounce something and I come back to the page months later and freak out only to realize it was deliberate.
