I designed a ceremonial suit of armour for Nives to wear for a future chapter.
Did the character need to wear armour for the event: technically no.
Am I going to regret the decision when it will be time to draw the chapter: Absolutely
Is it worth it: Tall women in full plate armour are absolutely worth it.

Here’s a character sheet of Mina, who is actually a friend’s OC but I did the character design.

I’m probably redesigning the first fit since it’s unlikely that she’d wear something like that in the era the story takes place in. (The story isn’t out yet, but I’m hoping to be able to launch it next year.)
Oh, and if someone wonders why one of her fits is Japanese while the other is Korean, this is also for historical reasons and might be a spoiler.

She's a superhero and a student. Many superheroes have a homemade costume they wear for a bit before getting the good one. Like spiderman. I wanted to do that with this character.

First done by artist. This last one is a concept art I (the writer) did that I plan to add later.

Self Portrait

Unfortunately I do not own overalls lol

I know it is for people who creates comics. I am writing a novel but my characters also have cool designs ( I hope so ). :DD
These are not all the characters I drew. If you want to see more, check my novel :DD!

no this is for novels and comics both, so you're welcome to show your ocs here

This rose fit, which is very symbolic for the comic

Butter Bee pajamas?! I think they might seem like TOO fancy of just sleepwear for some Knights but they're both aesthetic girlies, let's face it, even Knight Geoffrey :joy: I use the rose for Geoffrey's symbolism too, what does it stand for your character @Leyelle ?

@beebutterbee ooh, that peach and salmon fit is gorgeous!!! I need to draw more pajamas for my ocs tbh.

In my comic roses always represent toxicity/red flags, at least at the moment. Some characters, like this fairy:

are actually mixed with roses so they are the red flags.

The woman with the rose dress isn't the problem though, she's just being used to exacerbate a problem. Hence why she's wearing a rose rather than mixed with a rose. The comic strip is about whitewashing, lightwashing, and skinny-washing characters. There's nothing wrong with being white, or fair-skinned, or thin, but by changing a character who isn't any of those things, artists are hurting the people who can identify with the original character, basically saying that nothing but thin, white and fair-skinned can be pretty, while there are lots of different kinds of beautiful.

This is the full version of the comic:

what do roses represent in the case of Geoffrey?

@Leyelle Thank you! I like Lady Lock’s pajamas too lol

And that’s interesting symbolism, so it’s definitely a negative association in your stories, or more of warning against these things that cause erasure to under represented characters and people.

For Geoffrey it’s also for red flags and warnings too so I think it’s interesting we both took that approach! But different things to worry about, I think you described his smile as melty creeper smile or something like that before so I’ll just leave it at that :v:

But the art is very cool with the rose fairy, btw, despite her being foreboding I love surreal stuff and fairies so it combines two of my favorite things!

@beebutterbee Oh thank you, I'm glad you like the art XD. I'm working on it lol. And I can definitely see someone using a rose to represent a dangerous person so it makes sense with Geoffrey imao. I love drawing flowers so i'll probably find more ways to include them in my art/comics overtime lol. Kind of random but what's your favorite flower?

I also love drawing flowers, usually I opt to draw sort of fictitious flowers though that aren’t very scientifically accurate lol I have a lot of flowers I like, and I think my favorite flowers change with my mood but today it’s Lotus or Tiger Lillies  How about you?

This is essentially Scamp's regular get up but with a brown coat, baggy jeans and a green baseball cap. This was for a final project for one of my college classes 2 years ago involving him, though it was based off a scene idea surrounding his arrival in New York before the series starts, and I imagine him wearing this as he gets off the train at Penn Station. I may add this outfit to his current model sheet since this one is his 2021 sheet

Speaking of his current model sheet, here's an alternate outfit: HIS PAJAMAS!!

Moving onto Sarah, her soccer oufit will be a look she'll wear alongside her school uniform

Lastly we have Ken and his new default outfit following chapter 4

I really like orchids and irises, but I like a lot of different kinds too so I getcha. I drew violets today and I think peonies are stunning but they're way too hard to draw lol
