Feeling a little better

I read a story called "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" and it made me feel a bit more optimistic in general. I've been feeling very doubtful lately about what I should do, as far as creative work. Reading this story made me feel much more hopeful about my creative abilities, as it has been remembered for so long despite being only 11 pages of text. 9/10 would recommend.

'Optimistic' is one of the last sentiments I would associate with THAT story, but I'm glad you got something good out of it. ^^;

Short stories in general aren't as widely known by the public at large, but it's not uncommon for them to become popular if they have a large enough impact. Keep writing what you like; it's the only way forward.

not exactly, lol. I do really enjoy some sci-fi elements and I think sci-fi has limitless potential, but I'm not really a huge fan of many sci-fi books.
