Hey, I decided to make this thread because...

1) A promotion post for creators who are also going through their first Inksgiving

2) A way for more veteran Tapas creators to share tips and what to expect for their first Inksgiving!

Promote your story here, and help give some newbies a few tips on what to expect! Here's my series, The Heart Dove. I'm really proud because we've hit 375 views and 33 subs! Thank you everyone ^-^

Heyy! This is my fourth Inksgiving and I think my most important tip is to not expect too much but be ready for everything! My first year went amazing, my second year was okay and last year was even better than the first! :smile_cat:
Try to figure out what your readers could want as little rewards for hitting Ink goals and make many small goals instead of just a few big ones (if you have enough time). And connecting with other creators is also really helpful (all the time, not just during Inksgiving :smile_cat:)
I think that's all the general advice I can give

And here's my novel, if someone's interested! :smiley_cat:

This would be my second Inksgiving.:heart:️ The creators in general are very generous. Last year there was a lot of ink donated, as for the goals, yes, as they said before, do not have expectations as high as 200,000 ink or more to meet since it is almost always not possible to achieve them unless you have many subscribers, support of the readers and the community of which you are a friend.

The most I asked for was 60,000 ink and many of the creators I know gave me more than I thought, I don't think it will happen like that this year, I may receive much less ink than last year but, that's okay.

And good luck :+1:

This will be my first ever one. I'm going in completely blind lol, No idea or any clue as to what to expect. My series Hawk and Flo Adventures hit 250 in September. I have 4 supporters so far since September they're awesome ^^. shoutout 2 @RyzaCobalion @larrylampard @TommyTheImp and @meeg

Thirley Peak started on August 1st it's at 61

There's a Hawk and Flo art collab coming up i've never hosted one before but fingers crossed it goes well. Flo's birthday is November 20th!

First Inksgiving for me as well! I'm super excited, I have some fun goals planned~
Some of them include:
1. Writing a rap
2. Performing the rap
3. Making a bonus episode only with my non-dominant hand
4. Creating some cursed art
There's more, those are just my favorite ones. Hopefully I'll be able to reach them! :^D My series also just updated, so it's a great time to come check it out!

It's my 4th xD I think in 2020 I didnt do anything. On 2021, I made an ilustration for those who supported me. Last year I made ilustrations for those who supported + after reaching a goal, 1 illustration for everybody as an extra chapter.

This year I have too many ideas xD I think I'll keep the exclusive ilustration for those who suport, and then work with goals.
1st- the exclusive ilustration for everyone
2nd- extra scene (smaller)
3rd- extra scene (longer).

Let's see how it goes. I never expect anything, so I always put my goals really low. Like 2k~5k. But this year I'll have to increase it as I want to make full scenes and it'll take a while to make. I may be a veteran in inkgiving, but my profit is none xD I just make it for the fun of it, cuz most of my subs dont support me all the time. But last year it increased significantly. Most of the people donate 100, 200, cuz they want to support a lot of people so it gets expensive (at least in my country, ink is very expensive), so I dont care too much about it. So what i'd tell you is just to not expect too much, and appreciate even if you get a 100 ink. Try everithing to not get frustrated, cuz it can make you really demotivated. I always expect 0 suporters and when one comes around, I can be happy xD

I'll leave my link1 in case anyone wants to know my work

Hello!
This is my 3rd inksgiving !!
Do not expect anything unless you have many subscribers..
Here creators and supporters are wonderful
Hope we all support eachother and reach our goals

I just started publishing this Summer, so this is my first Inktober! I've recently hit 34 subs, so I'm still a ways away from earning any ink, but honestly I'd rather just build up readers over earning any ink to begin with.
My fantasy/sci-fi adventure novel, with episode 16 tomorrow:

Im also still too early in my journey with the platform, so Inksgiving is bit of a miss for me. But I wish you all the best with your goals!
