This reads like an ad but I'm actually excited about it

I may be the last person to make this discovery, and that's fine, but if you've been looking for a new spot for 3D assets you can use as reference for your comic--why not check out MSPaint? They have pre-existing 3D models you can put together and edit, and you can also make your own. I haven't had time to really play around with making my own yet, but it might be a good (FREE) sketchup alternative, if you don't like making rooms in the sketchup browser.

Just open MSPaint, click on the "edit with paint 3D" button beside the colour palette, and start putting together 3D assets. It's so neat.

The first impression the 3D mode gave me were simple shapes or textures, but this sounds really nice! I ought to try it once I have the time.

Wow wow wow! Okay, I've had that sitting on my computer for a while and never really looked too deep into it but just a few minutes fiddling around and i could make a rough little background like this

I have definitely got to make more use of this! Thank you Lacey! :hype_01:

Woahh, I never actually thought of using 3D paint for backgrounds! I thought it was capable of only simple shapes. Thank you for this!

YESSS this looks so awesome i love that you can just drag and drop and build a whole scene!!! and the CARS i will never struggle again

I havent thought of using paint 3D. Tend to use blender or assets on CSP. Ill keep that in mind!

Oh wow thanks for this! It even looks more detailed than most sketchup 3d assets from the warehouse

yeah the 3D warehouse has been so useful to me but is definitely built for utility haha! i’m going to need to take a day to just browse and fiddle with all the mspaint models!

Whoa thats amazing. I haven't been using 3d models but maybe its time to start! Thanks for pointing this out!
