I uploaded a new update on Wednesday!
I've finished writing the novel above, and I found myself on Tuesday with too much to do for work. Instead of being a reasonable person and being productive with work things, I decided to revisit a novel that I first tried to write over 10 years ago. Over the next day or so I completely reworked the plot, gave the characters personality infusions, and came up with a story that's actually reasonable and workable instead of what 12-year-old me came up with.
So now I'm writing another novel absolutely out of the blue. I started yesterday, planning to finish the first draft by late April. One of the more random projects I've started during quarantine
My favorite quote from it so far: "I’d like to say that some corner of my mind realized how appalling the situation was – stripping the corpse of the woman who’d raised me – but that would be a lie." (It's way less macabre than that implies, I swear)
