People reacted well to this one (the only sex joke so far):

“Assholes! All of you!” Thesis blared, “Now would you please just let me finish!”

“I’m sure that’s not the first time you’ve said that.” Agony snarked. Motif guffawed. Sequel remained unflinching.

“SHUT THE FUCK UP! ALL OF YOU!!” Thesis exploded. Duenna scowled.

Very interesting thread! This is currently my favorite page in my comic xD The boy asking is called Hinny Bright, so there's the pun on his name too. I suppose the rest is self-explanatory

Here's a funny moment in my book. That's not too dirty minded.

Entering the kitchen to see Jay standing over our dining table that’s broken and on the floor. “Did we break the table? I wonder if I can eat in the living room?” he whispers to himself shaking his head, placing his hands on his hips pacing back and forth.

So my story part of my novel isn't out yet, so no one's actually reacted to it... But I think it's pretty funny. Oh and it is a FNAF reference cause her parents are William and Clara Afton...
So the teacher's frustrated at her new sassy student, Amy, so she says, "Where are your Parents!?"
Where then Amy immediately replies, "Dead."

Here is a little clip from chapter 18. I'm quite proud of this as I managed to get a real life friend to laugh at it, and he's hard to make laugh!

I hear him grumbling behind me as I open the door and head out to the truck. Once I get the engine started Nicky is coming out the door and gets in the passenger side. He glares at me and brandishes a spoon.

“We are going dragon hunting and all I have is a spoon,” he says, not even blinking.

I stare at him. “Really?”

“… Laugh all you want, buddy. I’ll just tell that pretty nurse you’ve been crushing on that you’re still into watching—”

“Stop right there! You promised not to talk about it, you idiot!” Eddie groaned, embarrassed that he had been caught by Yohan.

“… Bro… You’re almost thirty and you still watch… Elmo? What was it called again, something street…”

“Will you shut up?! Elmo is cute, okay?! And it’s not like I was watching it for my enjoyment, I was watching it with my three-year-old niece!”
