I don't check it very often since i have small number of subs, so i just send thank you "cards" when i get new subs, but i noticed that im always going from 75 to 77 then to 76....it just jumps from these three numbers. Is it really always one person unsubbing and then other subbing so it evens out or is it a glitch?
-When i say very often,i mean i don't check it every time i log in, i do check my sub count when i'm posting something on my wall.

oh i forgot to say, if numbers weren't jumping at these three places, i would assume it's just unsubbing

Yea I noticed the same. I went to visit two of my cousins a few weeks ago and they subbed but then disappeared from my sub count so I wandered if its a glitch. They're not the type to unsub to me either so I guessed is a glitch. Sorry to hear that happened, Keep up the hard work on your novel and hope u gain your desired number of subs

I hope it's a real glitch - otherwise the system would be determined to keep my sub count below 80 forever =(

It's unsubbing, as far as I can tell. :sweat_02:
I do keep track of my sub count and subscribers over 3 series whenever my numbers dip, I can always attribute it to a particular person unsubbing. I don't think you should take it as a sign that your work is bad though! Everyone faces the same problem of unsubbing. It's pretty natural for readers to unsub because they subbed without reading your first or second chapter, and by the time they come back to it, they may find that it's not what they were looking for. Or some people just end up clearing their library of subs and did a mass unsubbing.

yeah it kinda annoys me, i mean i'm not doing this for subs, but when you see number so close to 80 (since mine jumps from high 70's let's use 80) and then it drops, but go up again, but then it drops....

Now that you say it, probably people for promotion topics here, i would do sub4sub, and stay subbed but i guess some just want their number to be higher without doing their part

Yup, there's that too! Or they do sub as part of the arrangement, but later unsub.

It's really impolite to do in my opinion, if someone starts/joins sub4sub topics, why unsub? I don't mind losing few subs since they didn't read my work in the first place, but i feel cheated in a way? Like i sub and stay subbed, but someone will unsub as "HA GOTCHA!" move.
