Hey, everyone! I've been on Tapastic since May, and currently try to post about 3 episodes per week! Now I admit, this thread is mostly just a plug for what I do, so if you're not interested in reading this, I'm not in the least offended. But for everyone else, I'd like to introduce myself and my cartoons...
When I was 17, I started drawing comics again after taking 3 years off, only to fall back in love! At 21, I gave up drawing comic "books" (drawn with ball point pens on copy paper) and switched my focus to a more newspaper comic strip format. I was hoping to attract the attention of one of the big American publishing syndicates in the hopes of becoming the next Charles Schulz, but so far no such luck! In recent years, I've focused on simply providing cartoons online for anyone to read, and Tapastic is one of my latest such forays. I've kept the newspaper comic strip format, drawing both stand-alone and serial strips (several individual cartoons forming an overall story line). Here on Tapastic, I offer both: With each episode, I include one cartoon in a given serial as well as one cartoon that neither depends, nor is dependent on any other strip!
Anyway, I've been told that to succeed in cartooning, one must devote 30% of his/her effort toward producing cartoons, and 70% toward pushing them. So I invite you to check out Candace 'n' Company here on Tapastic! And your support will also alert me to what you have to offer, because I love reading cartoons almost as much as I love writing them! So please feel free to check me out, because I WILL feel free to check YOU out!

And here's a sample of what I do...

(In case it's not obvious, I've categorized my cartoon as "comedy")

Thanks for putting up with me! smile
