Hi, fellas!
I've been researching a lot about Webtoon Production studios these days and I discovered some interesting info I didn't know earlier.
I didn't know that some of the Korean, Japanese and Chinese Webtoon IPs (a good number of them) are actually outsourced to Production studios based in other countries like Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia etc. Especially, Indonesia seems to have seen a rise in these studios in the past few years.
I was wondering if any of you have worked/are currently working in a studio like this (could be based in other countries too) and what has your experience been like?
What role and responsibilities did you handle? Did you freelance or work on site? How do these studios treat their artists?
I'm also curious if any of you have been hired to work for a studio based in a different country than your native one. Is there a language barrier in such cases?
Feel free to tell what you know and satiate my curiosity!!

I'm actually wondering about this too. I wish its more common in north america as well. I'd like to join one!

You can research and see if there are any! I'd love to join one as well but unfortunately the artist community where I live aren't very into webtoons. So I'm trying to find studios who are open to a different nationality than theirs
